Locke and Key Season 3 cast
Emilia Jones, Connor Jessup, Jackson Robert Scott, Darby Stanchfield. And Aaron Ashmore stars as the Locke family members Kinsey, Tyler, Bode, their mother Nina, and their uncle Duncan, respectively. Genevieve Kang (Jackie), Coby Bird (Rufus). Petrice Jones (Scot), Hallea Jones (Eden), Sherri Saum (Ellie). Griffin Gluck (Gabe), Laysla De Oliveira (Dodge), and Bill Heck round out the supporting cast (Rendell). All of these cast members will very probably repeat their roles in Season 3, with some of their characters (such as Dodge and Rendell) appearing in flashbacks. Kevin Durand, whose character Frederick Gideon makes a few short cameos in season 2, will almost certainly play a larger part in season 3.
Locke and Key Season 3 plot
Season 2 concludes shortly after the great fight between Dodge and the Locke family, in which the former is vanquished and seems to be dead. Dodge’s henchman Eden, on the other hand, unleashes an even more deadly monster known as Frederick Gideon. Even when Tyler goes to travel for a few months, leaving Kinsey and Bode to guard the keys, the inmates of the Keyhouse remain unaware of the new foe. Season 3 will almost certainly see the eponymous Locke family fight Frederick Gideon for custody of the keys.
With the stakes likely to be significantly greater. Secrets concerning the emptiness beyond the Black Door will also be revealed, as will the history of the demonic whispering iron utilized to create the magical keys. Will Kinsey and Scott get together? Kinsey and Scott have been friends since the former’s first day of school. However, Kinsey is distracted by Gabe, and the two are unable to meet in season one. Later, Scott and Kinsey’s relationship suffers a setback, and it seems that the two will never talk again. When Gabe’s demonic identity is exposed, Kinsey recognizes her error in not believing Scott and apologizes. The two get even closer, and when Kinsey discovers that Scott did not leave the country as planned, she finally kisses him. It is unclear if Kinsey and Scott are formally dating based on the last moments of season 2. They have, however, knocked through the separation between them. And a potential relationship seems to be on the horizon.
Ellie is Rendell’s childhood friend and one of the keys’ final defenders. Her son Rufus is good friends with Bode, and she lives near to the Keyhouse. Dodge uses the Identity Key to transform Ellie into her doppelganger and then flees in season one. Ellie is flung into the blue vacuum beyond the Omega Door by the Locke children, who believe she is Dodge (also called the Black Door).
We witness Ellie clambering out of the wreckage after Gabe smashes the tunnel leading to the Omega Door, still looking like Dodge. The commotion caused by the cave falling seems to have brought her back into the human world. However, since no being has yet returned from the vacuum. This opens up a new field of possibilities. Though it is not mentioned, Ellie is likely to have brought back crucial knowledge from her experience falling into the vacuum.
