It is September the girls are making meat patties. Mika notices that Himeno is distracted and told her to come back to their world. Himeno realizes that ever since they started preparing for the contest, her mind always thinks about the upcoming competition. She notices that Mika put a lot of cheese inside her meat and told her that it is too much. Mika replies that if you love the cheese, you must add a lot of it. Later the girls finished preparing their meat, and Mika finds that her meat is empty from the inside.
Himeno reveals that the cheese has melted when she is cooking the meat. The next day Himeno headed to the pottery clubhouse and decided she is making that cushion. Toko and Mika arrive and ask how she will make the cushion. Himeno replies that she will start by kneading it hard and try to make its shape. Himeno found how to make it easier, and Mika comments that Himeno got the idea after making meat patties yesterday. Himeno took some clay, but she can’t roll the clay properly.

Himeno started working on her cushion, and she seems to be improved. Toko and Mika notice that Himeno is getting better, but she has to put more effort into making her cushion. Mika suggests that they will try different thicknesses and shapes. Himeno worked day and night without giving up, but she keeps on failing. Sometimes Himeno makes weird shapes and funny cushions. She realizes that she can’t control the clay properly, and the clay always loses its form.
Later she finished making different cushions, and Mika told her to choose one and check their thickness and hardness. Toko suggests that Himeno can first take a break since she has been fighting with a lump of clay for the whole week. Himeno can’t believe that day passes when someone is busy with something. She can’t believe that she has spent a week trying to perfect her cushion. Himeno comments that her arms hurt and notices that Nao is eating a coiled danish.
Nao comments that it is a snack, and Himeno realizes that the shape of coiled danish is what she needs to make. She steps up and heads to make something that looks like a coiled danish. After five minutes, Himeno notices that making a coiled danish was like eating a piece of cake. The girls got impressed, and Nao comments that Himeno will continue to wrestle with the clay daily. Later at Cafe Tokishiro, Himeno shouts that her arms hurt, and she put some body lotion to heal her arms.

Chise heard Himeno complaining, and she calls her, telling her that lunch is ready. Himeno heads to the living room and finds that they have prepared her favorite special dish. Tokishiro told her to dig in, and Himeno notices something. Himono took a bowl that has noodles and raises it copying the shape of it. Chise told her to stop playing with food after realizing that Himeno wants to make something that looks like that. The family enjoys their lunch, and they even finish their leftovers.
The next day Himeno surprised the girls by using clay to make kitchen tools. She also made those bowls that copied when they ate lunch. The girls realize that Himeno will make anything out of clay. She works with a lump of clay for the whole day, and Chise complains at Cafe Tokishirou after realizing that Himeno has not returned. Koizumi visits Cafe Tokishirou and finds that Himeno is not around. Tokishiro welcomes Koizumi, and they take about dishes. Koizumi told Tokishiro about Himeno.
She reveals that Himeno is doing well, and she will have her eureka moment soon. Koizumi is thinking about something that she can use to roast Tokishiro. Koizumi realizes that there is nothing in Taijimi’s summer that is hot enough to tease Tokishiro. The next day Himeno dry her cushions in the sun. Himeno also made an air clay cushion that became the best cushion in her collection.
