La Casa De Papel Season 3 On Netflix: Cast, Release Date, Alvaro Morte’s Reaction, Trailer

Spanish drama La Casa De Papel also known as Money Heist is the most watched foreign shows on Netflix right now. The drama La Casa De Papel translates to ‘House of Paper’ in English and is based upon the premise of robbing the Spanish royal mint valued at € 2.4 billion. The ones looting this Royal Spanish Mint are a bunch of 8 outcasts led by El Professor, played by Alvaro Morte. The first two Seasons are available on Netflix for audiences to binge-watch. The Series premiered first in May 2017; Season 2 came out in 2018. The show as a whole was an entire 15 episodes divided into two parts through Season 1 and 2.

Given the two-part nature of the show, all of us thought that it wouldn’t be back for another Series. Not only the audiences, but Alvaro Morte also had a similar feeling too. But what happened next was wonderful for all of us. Netflix renewed La Casa De Papel or Money Heist for Season 3 this year. Alvaro Morte was in a grieving phase post La Casa De Papel’s Season 2. He spoke about the character connection to El Professor.

La Casa De Papel / Money Heist Season 3: Release Date

La Casa De Papel comes under the European ambition of Netflix. Netflix has vowed to give attention to European cinema/ TV and not ignore it. Hence, we are getting another Season of what was originally planned to be a mini-series. Besides the renewal, Netflix didn’t say much about the format of the show or the number of episodes. But what we do know is La Casa De Papel will come back sometime in 2019 with heists and action.

Alvaro Morte’s El Professor Weighs In:

Poor Alvaro was in a mourning phase post Season 2. He let us know El Professor was kind of like a twin brother to him. He had that sort of connection to the character, so when it got over, he felt like he bid goodbye to a brother that he was never going to see again. Imagine his excitement when Money Heist was back for Season 3! Alvaro remembers getting the renewal call on a train from Madrid to Barcelona. He was excited beyond belief. A guy in Brazil tattooed Alvaro’s face to his body; such is the success of the show.

Ursula Corbero who plays Tokyo in the show cried when she heard renewal of La Casa De Papel. The cast of La Casa has a WhatsApp group where they share fan art of the show. “We have a WhatsApp chat group where everything that we have seen about ourselves we put up, and there are all sorts of information about photos, fan art, graffiti in Brazil – my face on a wall, which is absolutely insane – it’s very funny, it’s beautiful, but it’s funny.”
