Kung Fu Season 1 Episode 2 that was aired a week ago was titled “Silence.” In that episode, we got to see how Nicky recognized that she was letting terror take over her after a dream about Pei-Ling’s death. Consequently, she agreed to aid Althea with her wedding and promised to begin training with Henry. Then, Nicky helps a destitute young woman at a park who immediately escaped after Nicky defended her from an attacker. However, Nicky located the woman and learned that her name is Rhonda. She even learns that Rhonda’s sick mother’s abusive boyfriend Derek had thrown her out. Derek had been stealing from her to suckle on his betting addiction. As a result, Nicky chased him and even went on to get a restraining order on behalf of Rhonda.
After a few hours, Rhonda told Nicky that her mother’s bank accounts had been emptied by Derek. In fact, he was planning to bet all of it at a private casino. Consequently, Nicky chases him down once again and forces him to take a vow of never troubling them again. Then, she even manages to make the casino return all the money to her that Derek had lost.
