Ecchi manga, Kinsou no Vermeil has been adapted into an anime and even announced its release date. The manga follows the path of a fantasy comedy with some hardcore fan service. Kinsou no Vermeil is set in a world of magic and demons. As different characters interact with each other, Alto- the protagonist forms a harem. Kinsou no Vermeil is every bit of a light-hearted fun story that anyone can enjoy. The upcoming Kinsou no Vermeil anime has shocked a number of fans as no one was expecting the announcement. However, despite all the surprises, fans are definitely excited and looking forward to yet another fun ride through a sexy fantasy adventure.
Kinsou no Vermeil is based on the manga written by Kouta Amana and Youko Umezu. The manga was launched by Square Enix in 2018 and was serialised in the Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine from August 2018. As of March 2022, the manga has been compiled into 5 volumes that have been selling like hotcakes in Japan. Following the overwhelming sales, the anime adaptation of Kinsou no Vermeil or Vermeil in Gold (as per the English translations) was announced.

Kinsou no Vermeil Plot
The protagonist of the story is Alto, whose graduation is in danger after he fails to perform summoning magic. He finds a grimoire by chance and through a magic circle, he ends up summoning Vermei, the devil herself. Vermei has been feared by the people since ancient times and thus was sealed. Her power can bring upon a calamity but Alto has not unleashed her. Despite her powerful self, Vermei needs to be supplied with magic in regular intervals. This is done by a kiss.
At the same time, Lilia, who has been crushing on Alto, becomes curious about the relationship between the two. The students are starting to wonder who Vermei is as well. Alto and Vermei team up to participate in the Platinum Square, The Master Of Magic”. The duo must win so that Alto can prove himself and keep from repeating another year.
Kinsou no Vermeil Anime Announced
On 10 March 2022, Square Enix announced an animation project based on Amana and Umezu’s manga Kinsou no Vermeil. The anime will be produced by Staple Entertainment. Kinsou no Vermeil anime will be released in July 2022. A specific date of the premiere is yet to be announced.
Additionally, the first visual teaser of the anime was released.

Cast
The cast members of the three main characters have been revealed.
Yuuya Hirose as Alto
Yuuya Hirose will voice Alto, a student of Ortigia Magic Academy, who wants to become a great wizard someday. He has a lot of magic power within him, enough to summon a demon. After summoning Vermei, he is forced to supply magical power by kissing every day.
Maaya Uchida as Vermei
Vermei is a fearful demon who was sealed in the book. Her past is mostly a mystery but we know that her magic needs to be restored in intervals.
Wakana Kuramochi as Lilia Kudelfate
Lilia is also a student of Ortigia Magic Academy and a childhood friend of Alto. She is an excellent magic-user. Her love for Alto is very desperate but the latter does not notice that feeling at all.
Staff
Takashi Naoya is directing the animrbat Staple Entertainment with Matsuo Asami as the assistant director. Tatsuya Takahashi is compiling the scripts of thr anime with character designs drafted by Kiyoshi Tateishi and Ayana Togashi (sub character designer). The chief Animation directors of the anime are Kiyoshi Tateishi, Toshimitsu Kobayashi, Yukiyo Komito, and Atsushi Aono. Hiroyuki Ikeda is the CG designer.
The staff also includes Ryouji Nagasawa as the Colour designer, Hiroki Ozaki as the Art Director, Mitsuhiro Kuno as the Director of Photography, and Tomomi Umetsu as the editor.
