Killing Eve premiered in 2018 on BBC America, and the show surpassed all expectations we had for it. The 8 episode long season 1 of Killing Eve saw very low audience at the beginning, but by the end of the season, the audience of the show had almost doubled.

Killing Eve is an action thriller that centers around a security operative played by Sandra Oh and her hunt for a mercurial assassin played by Jodie Comer. The show not only managed to grab double the audience by the end but actually went onto become a blockbuster hit of 2018. We are here today to talk about Season 2, so let’s get right into it.

The show was renewed even before BBC began with Killing Eve Season 1. In an interview, BBC America President Sarah Barnett said: “The early response to Killing Eve has been incredible – for that reason, as well as the fact that we wholeheartedly love this original, funny, thrillingly entertaining series, we are delighted to move ahead with a second season before we even premiere.”

Killing Eve Season 2 Release Date?

Though the release date of the show or anything on the filming hasn’t been confirmed, we know for a fact that the debut season was ordered on November 15, 2016, which then premiered on April 8, 2018. Since season 2 was ordered days before season 1 premiered, one should expect season 2 to air sometime in the early half of 2019.
