The upcoming girl group, Kep1er, is postponing its debut. After a staff member tested positive for COVID-19, Kep1er is making a change in their debut date and schedule. The delay has saddened the fans. However, to follow the safety guidelines and keep the girls’ health in check, Wake One Entertainment has decided to postpone Kep1er’s debut. The company also shared a brief statement consistingep1er’s future schedule and upcoming activities.
Kep1er is a new girl group formed via Mnet’s survival program – “Girls Planet 999.” The nine-member girl group consists of Huening Bahiyyih, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Yujin, Hikaru, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Yeseo, and Youngeun. The new debut date for Kep1er is not announced yet. But, previously, kep1er was all set to debut on December 14.

Kep1er will take some more time to showcase their talent as the new group in the Kpop industry. The group was set to debut on December 14, 2021. However, now their schedule and other activities will be halted. Wake One Entertainment and Swing Entertainment penned down a brief statement. They informed about the present situation of Kep1er’s upcoming promotional activities. All the members were immediately tested, and luckily, their results came back negative. Moreover, none of the members have any signs or symptoms of the infection.
To prioritize the health of the staff and members, Kep1er will follow all primary safety guidelines. And their planned schedule ahead of the debut is also pushed back. The agencies apologized to the fans eagerly waiting for Kep1er’s debut and its personal.
