Chapter 176 starts with Takako blasting cursed energy at Yuta. After taking a blow or two, Yuta finds his arm deformed. However, the effects are gone soon. It seems that Takako can manipulate the sky at her well, but it can’t harm the opponent in any way. She further explains that she can turn the sky into a surface or a sheet of paper, thereby making it hard for anyone to adapt to the environment.
On getting provoked by her, Yuta bluntly asks if she is okay with getting killed. He is trying to figure out why a master sorcerer like Takako is risking her life since she can easily gain points by killing the weaklings. She explains to him the essence of getting reincarnated and her selfish desire to escape the hell that confined her centuries. Ichigoori intervenes in the heated up conversation with his cursed energy cannon, thereby wiping out the entire area within seconds.
Yuta barely evades the granite blast and advances towards him with everything he has. Meanwhile, Ichigoori wastes no time in explaining his intentions and keeps attacking Yuta with his cannon.
