Ghost Doctor

Ghost Doctor will depict the story of Cha Young Min (Rain) and Ko Seung Tak (Kim Bum), who have opposite personalities. But, they are forced to work together with possessed spirits. Young-Min is an arrogant yet excellent doctor who can heal patients with his expertise in surgery. However, he accidentally possesses another doctor’s body, Seong Tak. Seong Tak is the wealthiest and luckiest resident doctor whose family practically owns the hospital.

The partnership between the two will indeed make the fans go crazy. The teaser posters for Ghost Doctor clearly depict their chaotic relationship. In addition to this, the two will also engage in romantic relationships. Young Min’s life will be entangled with Jang Se Jin (Uee). On the other hand, Oh Soo Jung (Naeun) will raise feelings in Seong Tak.

Boo Sung Chul (The Heirs) is directing the drama, whereas Kim Eun Hee (Live Upto Your Name) will pen down the script. With so much craziness awaiting you, Ghost Doctor is the most anticipated January 2022 Kdrama on the list.

Another political crime and mystery Kdrama is surfacing this January. Tracer will center around the life of Hwang Dong Joo (Im Siwan), the chief of taxation 5 at the National Tax Service. He is loyal, honest, and likes to trace the money hidden from the tax services. His squad also includes the bright Seo Hye Young (Go Ah Sung) and his boss Oh Young (Park Yong Woo).

While Dong-Joo is all about honesty, In Tae Joon (Son Hyun Joo), director of a regional tax office, has brought himself at the top through illegal works and bribes. tae-Joon is cocky and witty, which gives him the edge to play the perfect antagonist.

Lee Seung Young (Voice 2) will direct the drama. Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Jung (Who Are You: School 2015) will write the script.

Internal Medicine Doctor Park

Starring – Lee Seo Jin, Ra Mi Ran, Cha Chung Hwa, Shin Eun Jung
Genre – Medical, Comedy
Release Date – January 14, 2022

We all have seen medical dramas: some are romantic (Dr. Romantic), while the others are just slice-of-life (Hospital Playlist). But, with Internal Medicine Doctor Park, get ready to laugh through the entire series.

Dr. Park Won Jang (Lee Seo Jin) opened his medical clinic to become the best physician and earn lots of money. He believed that having his private medical clinic would bring him several patients, and soon he would be wealthy. Unfortunately, only a few patients visit him. Moreover, the clinic is on the verge of bankruptcy, making things hard for Dr. Park.

In addition to this, he starts losing hair, making things worse for him. And, if it wasn’t enough, his wife’s belief in TV medical programs more than him will surely make you crack up. Ra Mi Ran will play Sa Mo Rim, Dr. Park’s wife. Internal Medicine Doctor Park deserves to be on the list of must-watch January 2022 Kdramas, as it will sugarcoat all the drama in your life with a laugh and hilarious scenes.

Seo Joon Bum will make his debut by directing and writing the drama’s script.

Through The Darkness

Kim Nam Gil is returning as South Korea’s first criminal profiler, Song Ha Young. He is calm, charismatic, and intelligent. Hence, he digs up the entire case once assigned to him. Apart from Ha-Young, the drama will focus on other criminal profilers, who will try to cope with criminals’ minds. The drama is adapted from the 2018 non-fiction book of the same name by Kwon II Yong, South Korea’s first criminal profiler, and Ko Na Mu, a journalist.

Although Through The Darkness is based on real-life events, many fans will be able to resonate the drama with the US Tv show- Mindhunter. Nevertheless, the Kim Nam Gil drama will be intense and showcase the Korean setting and how criminals get the job done.

All Of Us Are Dead

Starring – Yoon Chan Young, Park Ji Hoo, Cho Yi Hyun, Park Solomon, Yoo In Soo, Son Sang Yeon

With All of Us Are Dead will display a group of young school students who get trapped inside the school during a zombie virus spread. The deadly wildfire will test their abilities to break through the crisis and help each other. The release date for the drama is not announced yet. But, it is scheduled to make its premiere next month.

The upcoming Netflix Kdrama is adapted from Now At Our School, The Korean webtoon. Lee Jae Gyu of “King2Hearts” and “Trap” will direct the Kdrama. Meanwhile, Chun Sung II of “Your Honor” will write the script. All of Us Are Dead should be on your watchlist of January 2022 Kdramas to watch since the plot looks promising.
