Hinata Shōyo is the main protagonist of the series. His idol ‘Little Giant’ has been his inspiration for all his middle school years. He says, ‘I may be small, but I can jump.’ After passing out from his middle school, Hinata enters Karasuno High School, where he teams up wuth his rival, Kageyama Tobio.
Hinata, except for jumping around and his good reflexes, didn’t have much to offer to his volleyball team. Once you start watching the series, you will get hooked because of its ‘what-will-happen-next’ plot.
Every time Hinata tries his best, fans feel proud. There were moments when he tried his best to receive the ball, but they didn’t get through. There were also instances where Hinata had some ‘fluke-receive’ moments, and he was teased for not being able to receive properly. Gradually, even fans got eager to see Hinata receive the ball in any one of the matches.
