I’m Standing on a Million Lives Season 2 is returning for another season, peaking up from the last mission that the students completed. Let’s look at the summary of the upcoming episode. Yostuya Yosuke is a high school student who met with Shindou and Hakozaki, and they got teleported to another world ruled by mysterious creatures. On the first day of their arrival, they met with the weird guy knowns as Game Master, who told them to complete the quest at a specified time. The Game Master help the student by giving them powers during their mission.
Shindou and Hakozaki became the Magician and a Warrior, but Yotsuya got surprised when he becomes a farmer. The trio’s adventures begin in another world where they complete missions and earn new powers. Each time they died during the mission, they have to start over. Yotsuya realizes that if they fail their quest, the natural world will face demons and monsters. The Game Master disappears after explaining the students’ quest to complete and gives them rules to return to the real world.
On their first mission, the students encounter a group of goblins, and Yostuya dies on the first day. Fortunately, the death only takes thirty seconds, and Yotsuya revives then battle with the goblins for the second time after discovering how to use his powers. The students keep on completing different missions. They met with another incident where Shhindou gets eaten by a monster on their way to the village. Later Yostuya and Hokozaki arrive at the town and finds a way to defeat the monsters. Yostuya notices that Hokazaki is weak and decided to train alone in the forest to prevent more deaths.

The village got under attack, and Hokazaki couldn’t fight, and Yotsuya watches her; she dies from a distance. Yotsuya dashed to the town and had one on one with the troll. Yotsuya gained a new rank during the battle, became a rank ten chef, and used kitchen tools to defeat the troll. Iu Shindo is a girl with blonde hair and brown eyes and plans on attending Moro Scientific Highschool. One day, Shindou teleported to a Game World where she met with the Game Master and gave her a job. After accepting the job, she managed to kill a goblin using new powers.
The Game Master gives Shindou and opportunity to ask some questions. Shindou wonders why she got chosen to be part of this game, and the Game Master reveals that someone suggested her name. During the missions, the Game Master makes her become a friend with Kusue Hokozaki. Hokozaki also got summoned to the other world after become Shindou’s best friend. The two gets the job to run some errand, and they team up and get the job done. They both realize that they need a third member who can assist them during missions.

Yusuke Yostuya’s name came up on their mind, and they decided that he could join them. But Yotsuya possesses no skills, and he is an ordinary student who enjoys hanging out alone. The Game Master gave the two opportunities to work with Yotsuya. On his first day of school, the teacher gave him a task to clean the chalkboard. Shindou and Hokozaki were in the same class, and the trio gets teleported to another world. Shindou and Hokazaki thought Yosuya would become a knight or a swordsman, but they are surprised when he becomes a farmer carrying a hoe as a weapon.
The girls got disappointed, but they were not aware that Yotsuya would gain outstanding skills during their journey. The first job was to find the village chief and fulfill his request. But Shindou died on the trip, but she revives, and they realize that they don’t have to die since they might run out of life. They work together to kill different monsters and uses log points to get to the second stage of the missions. From the last episode of this anime, the students receive a reward for completing the quest. Tokitate asks the Game Master if the world they are in is real.
The Game Master replies that this world is an alternate Earth connected to the original Earth’s timeline. Yotsuya worries that everything is accurate, and it means he is a murderer since he has killed many evil people during the process. Later Yostuya returns to the world and gets surprised when the Game Master visited him in a young girl. The young girl talked with him about something and showed him how to meet with the new player.
