The Drama we will be talking about here is a good-old feel-good drama titled “My Little Happiness.”
My Little Happiness was released earlier this year only. Directed by Yang Long, the director was also behind the very famous C-Drama, A Love So Beautiful. The show sees Fair Xing and Daddi Tang in the main roles. My Little Happiness deals with genres of Romance, Comedy, Drama. It is based in the world of Law. Lovers of Law School are sure to love this drama. Other sub-genres we can find in this C-Drama include Childhood Crush, Lawyer Intern, Bickering Couples, Medical Drama. My Little Happiness is basically a cheerful, upbeat, and fluffy web series adapted from a novel of the same name by the author Dong Benxi Gu.

My Little Happiness: Plot
Cong Rong (played by Fei Xing) had always wanted to become a lawyer. Unfortunately for her, her mother has other plans for her. She wants her daughter to study finance overseas and hopes that she will settle down somewhere abroad. She is unwilling to take anything but “yes” for an answer. Cong Rong cannot convince her own mother to allow her to chase after her dreams, and hence resigned. She has no choice but to follow her mother’s wishes. But does she do so? Cong Rong lies to her mother that she has left for a foreign country. But actually, she has come back home to begin work as a legal intern.
While working as a legal intern, she comes face to face with Wen Shao Qing (played by Tang Xiao Tian). Wen Shao Qing is her childhood friend, and they have to work together on her first case. Now a famous surgeon, Wen Shao Qing, on top of being Cong Rong’s client, is also her landlord and neighbor. As if it’s destiny, Cong Rong and Shao Qing are inexplicably drawn towards each other. And they can do nothing to stop it. The childhood friends may argue and snap at the string that ties them together, but can they resist what is inevitable?
Something More About the Characters:
Cong Rong is a very persevering and smart woman. Due to her first case, she has to work in the Hospital where Shao Qing works. And she can provide quality service as an intern in the Hospital. She is a very capable female lead, very much less the clumsy-damsel kind. She is very likable and competent. Tang Xiao Tian’s role of Wen Shao Qing is the cold character with a warm heart. He is precise, knowledgeable, and very confident. But, Cong Rong thawing the ice in his heart – which she doesn’t even realize. In other words, you can say that Wen Shao Qing is a closet softie. Also, the height difference between the two protagonists is so cute!
Another character is Cheng Cheng, who is Cong Rong’s BFF. She decides to start her own restaurant in the neighborhood. She is a rich girl who wants to be independent but is being held back by her own parents. This brings us to our other major character, Wen Rang, who is Shao Qing’s uncle and owns a bookstore around the same place where Cheng Cheng opens her restaurant.

My Little Happiness: Cast and Release Date
The male protagonist and female protagonist are played by Daddi Tang, also known as Tang Xiao Tian (Shao Qing), and Fair Xing, also known as Xing Fei (Cong Rong), respectively. Xing Fei is notably known for her work in Put Your Head on My Shoulder. The other main characters are Lin Huang (Zhou Cheng Cheng) and Leon Li (Wen Rang). Other supporting cast members include Fu Wei Lun as Zhong Zhen, who is Cong Rong’s Cousin. Liu Chag, Wang Mo Han, Zhang Yuan Yuan, Luo Chen Su all play different characters in the law firm.
In the Hospital, we have Deng Yu Li and Chang Long as Shao Qing’s colleagues, while Sun Le Tian is Director Yan, the Hospital’s Director. Cui Yi has the role of Cong Rong’s mother, and Sookie Pan plays Wen Rang’s ex-girlfriend, Jiang Yo. There are many other guest roles. The Chinese web drama has been fully released. The entire web drama was released in the month of January, with the first episode being uploaded on 13th January and the last episode on 27th January. There are a total of 28 episodes.
