The illumination produced the movie, and the distribution was under the control of Universal Pictures. The storyline of Despicable Me 3
So, the story begins with two agents, Gru and Lucy Wilde, who got their mission to stop Balthazar Bratt from stealing Dumont diamond. Gru manages to collect the gem, but Bratt manages to vanish. After returning back home, Gru and Lucy told their adopted children, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, about their firing and that they will be going to have a new job soon. When Gru refuses to return to being a supervillain and his aide Dr. Nefario is frozen in Carbonite, the majority of his Minions, headed by Mel, abandon him in search of other employment. Dave and Jerry stay behind, but the rest of the Minions experience a series of escapades throughout the film, concluding in their arrest.

Then, Gru’s long-lost brother Dru gave an invitation to the Butler named Fritz to Gru’s home. Dru lives in Freedonia, a faraway nation. Gru and his family, when traveling to Freedonia, they find Dru wealthier and the smartest of all. According to Fritz, their big agricultural business is the key to their success. Furthermore, Bratt steals the diamond once more, intending to use it to power a massive robot that would destroy Hollywood as a form of revenge for the cancellation of “Evil Bratt.” Dru tells Gru that their dead father was also a supervillain, “the Bald Terror”, and the only source of their wealth is his father’s crimes and technical breakthroughs.
