Minato had tonnes of abilities as a shinobi. He had a large chakra reserve and was able to summon giant Toad leader, Gamabunta. He gained mastery in Teleportation Jutsu. All he needs to do is mark the opponent and then he can instantly teleport toward the opponent and the mark never fades until their death. He was the one who created Rasengan and Dead Demon Sealing Jutsu. Due to his large chakra reserve, he was able to learn Sage Mode from Mount Myoboku. At the time of his death, he became the Jinchuriki of Ninetails as he sealed half the powers of Nine-Tails within himself. Apart from all these abilities, he was extremely smart and intelligent. When he became Hokage, he marked every place of Konoha with his chakra so he can reach that place instantaneously in case if there is a threat.
When Did Minato Meet Naruto?
Yes, you read it right. Naruto does meet his father in the series. Naruto met Minato when he was fighting with the Pain. When Pain knocked down Hinata, Naruto could not stop himself from the wrath of Nine-Tailed Chakra and he decided to open the seal of Ninetails to get the extreme power. As he untighten the seal, Minato’s chakra get activated and there he met with his father. He talk for some time and Minato told him about his mother and what happened on the day he was born. Minato tightens the seal again and told Naruto to not get lost in disillusion. He encouraged him to walk on the right path and then fades away.
