How a Realist Rebuilt Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom Part 2 has just started with its season premiere and saw the diplomatic negotiations to reclaim Amidonia continuing. Like most seasonal animes. How a Realist Hero Rebuilt, The Kingdom has returned together with the Winter 2022 anime list. Usually, animes would run for a single cour, meaning it’s only one season of 12 to 14 episodes, and then wait for the next season to debut.
Then we would have split course animes that usually run for two cours which could either air consecutively as we saw with World Trigger Season 3. Or they can air separately like we now see with Attack on Titan The Final Season, where each cour of around 12 episodes will be broadcast in two different seasons.
How a Realist Hero Rebuilt, The Kingdom will follow the same format. With part one featured in Summer 2021 anime, we now have How a Realist Rebuilt The Kingdom Part 2 featured in Winter 2022 anime lists. This makes it easier to understand how the anime will line up its episodes this season.
Looking at how the first cour aired. How a Realist Rebuilt, The Kingdom ran for 13 episodes that focused on its own sub storyline. And now the second cour is picking up from the aftermath and how king Souma intends to take matters forwards, as we have seen in How a Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom Part 2 Episode 1.
The episode is also popularly known as How a Realist Hero Rebuild The Kingdom Episode 14. Because dividing cours into parts with different episodes can be confusing for those who are not familiar with a system of this format. We also saw this on anime Like Demon Slayer, which has returned for its second season, which focuses on two different districts where each district featured a different set of episode numbering.
Second Cour: How A Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom Part 2
This is basically still season one of the anime. So like we have been discussing above, the first season of the anime still continues. The first part of the first season ran for 13 episodes. And according to the official announcement, the second part will have 13 episodes as well. This means that the first season will continue from where episode 13 left off, and we have already got more developments from episode 14.
Next, episode 15 will be broadcast as the diplomatic relation between the warring nations continue. Meanwhile, Souma takes delight in scolding the Amidonian forces that he defeated in the first part of the season. And now that they have lost, they resort to the very same laws that they violated before: The Mankind Treaty.
It is still not yet clear what Souma and his kingdom will do. But since we are just midway into the season, then this might just be the focus of the remaining episodes. It will be interesting as well to see what comes next. Now that all the fighting has settled down, then we will see more of talking and negotiating than we did in the first part.
But looking at the entire power dynamics within the anime, it will be interesting as well to see more developments in that part. Because Souma has already proved that strength and might in not all it takes to rule in this world. Ironically, he used the former in the first part of the season.
And now, he will demonstrate that it takes more than just strength and might to rule a kingdom successfully. Tapping into the concept of summoning heroes to deal away with injustices, this is how the rest of the season will be structured:
