With 80% of Otsutsuki transformation done, Boruto is living in the edges on his own show. Fans are looking for theories on how he can prevent Momoshiki Otsutsuki from taking over him. Even the Kages aren’t much hopeful about Boruto’s survival. Despite being Naruto Uzumaki’s son, they will have no other option but to kill him if he goes out of control again. Losing Sasuke’s Rinnegan was already too much for Konoha, so they couldn’t afford any further damage caused by the Borushiki transformation.
However, Kawaki is ready to go the extra mile to protect the Uzumaki family at any cost. He came up with an insane plan to save Boruto, which involves catching Code alive. Yes, you read it right; Kawaki is ready to go that far to save his friend. Meanwhile, Naruto is still hopeful about Byakugan suppressing pills given by Amado. Can any of the measures really save Boruto from complete Otsutsuki transformation? Here’s everything you need to know.
Kawaki’s Insane Plan to Save Boruto
Kawaki approaches Boruto with an insane idea to prevent Boruto from getting abolished once the Otsutsuki transformation is complete. He wants to catch Code alive and implant Boruto’s karma on. This way, Boruto can live even if Momoshiki emerges from his original body.
Let start by explaining how karma works. Karma gives a massive boost to the bearer’s strength, stamina, and speed. The vessel starts inheriting the years of battle experience of the Otstusuki. The more the vessel resorts to their karma powers, the faster they will transform into Otsutsuki.
Since Boruto is 80% an Otsutsuki now, he should have the ability to implant his own karma on someone else. Since Code was raised to become a vessel, Kawaki believes that he can be the right vessel for Boruto. However, catching Code alive is an impossible task, even for the finest shinobi of Konoha. The plan is pretty far-fetched, and there’s no way of telling if it will really work out.

Amado’s Pills to Prevent Otsutsuki Transformation
No matter how calm and sturdy Naruto may act, he can never bring down to kill his son. He will do everything in his power to stop Boruto’s Otsutsuki transformation. He kept rejecting the idea of disposing Boruto off before its too late. Now, who else knows the struggle of living as a monster better than Naruto? He surely doesn’t want to go through everything that he once faced.
He asked for Amado’s help regarding this issue. Amado is undoubtedly the best scientist in the Shinobi world, but he is no god. He can’t just revert Boruto back to the human he was at the beginning of the series. The best he could do was to hand over a bottle of Byakugan suppressing pills to Naruto. He believes these pills can slow down Boruto’s Otsutsuki transformation till they come up with a solution.
These magical pills come with a fair share of risks too. The side effects of these Byakugan suppressing pills can range from blurry vision to death. Naruto explained everything when he handed the medicine to Boruto. To Naruto’s surprise, he took the pills without the slightest hesitation. He, too, believes that slowing down the transformation is the best thing to do.
Coming to Boruto’s ongoing fight with Code, Boruto is fighting pretty well. It seems that he is gradually getting the hang of karma. He kept attaining the Otsutsuki powers and their millennia-long battle experience without his control to Otsutsuki. There’s a high chance that the secret behind this miracle is Amado’s pills.
Momoshiki’s Change of Heart
Remember how Kurama and Naruto got along with each other in desperate times? But did we ever consider such a possibility at the beginning of the series? Now that we have learned our lesson, we can’t just stop ourselves from hoping that Momoshiki and Boruto will build mutual trust someday.
Honestly speaking, I don’t see this happening anytime soon. Momoshiki is arrogant Otsutsuki, who considers Boruto as nothing but a tool for getting reincarnated. Moreover, if the series follows the same pattern yet again, the story will get monotonous and repetitive. I don’t think that Kishimoto sensei will resort to this alternative right now.
