He Is Psychometric Season 2- Is The Drama Heading Towards A Second Season?
Unfortunately, no news like that has been unveiled yet. However, fans are really looking forward for a Season 2. It’s been two years since the first season aired, though the expectations for season 2 don’t seem to die down anytime soon. Now, if ever a season 2 gets made then, the backstory of Sung-mo will be an interesting angle to put light on. Though in the first season, only reasons were given as to why he behaved in a certain way, however, a more detailed story from his perspective can be enthralling to watch. All the actors did a phenomenal job, and their acting was very much convincing.
He Is Psychometric is not completely dark or completely slice of life. The story has its share of humor along with the mystery and thriller angle; however, stress has been given on the mystery part a bit more. The drama revolves around Lee Ahn, who acquires a psychometric ability where he can read a person’s past through physical touch. This happened when he lost both of his parents in a fire. Though he had such a great ability, however, he didn’t know how to control his power. Until he met a girl named Yoon Jae-in, she’s the one who helped him to get a hold of his power. Eventually, they both fall for each other.
Many people knew about Lee Ahn’s ability from the very start. Eun Ji-soo was one of them. A very optimistic personality, the investigating officer had feelings for Sung-mo. However, one thing that struck the viewers was her death in the series. Kang Geun Taek was responsible for her death as he was the one who stabbed her with a knife. Meanwhile, Lee Ahn and Yoon Jae-in went off to search for the killer, Kang Geun Taek, who escaped from the police. On the Sung-mo was on his way for a hideout as he was not found. Both Lee Ahn and Yoon Jae-in didn’t even have the moment or time so that they could mourn over the close person they had just lost.
Yoon Jae-in Past Is Connected With Lee Ahn’s Past
It was not only Lee Ahn who had a traumatic past experience from the fire incident but also Yoon Jae-in was a victim of it. Throughout her life, she has been bearing the pain, however, she overcame all of it and was successful in becoming a police officer. Before this, she wanted to become a prosecutor to save her father from the false allegations against him.
Both Lee Ahn and Yoon Jae-in became extremely close to each other and formed a team where they investigated to find out the real reason, and the real culprit behind the fire broke out incident.
He Is Psychometric Ending
Sung-mo, who saved Lee Ahn from the fire incident, holds an important position in Lee Ahn’s life. However, the biggest twist that came with the ending of the series is that Sung-mo was the one who was behind the fire incident. Sung-mo did this to save his mother from his tenacious father, who held them captivated in a basement previously.
This came as a shock for both Lee Ahn and Yoon Jae-in that the person who they used to look up to soo much was the mastermind of the tragic incident that took their families away from them.
Though the drama did give enough reasons why Sung-mo did what he did, it still can’t be so easily forgiven.
