Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 Episode 10 Recap
We start the episode with Helm trying to defend Levi after he arrives late to the conference and stumbles through a few questions before escaping. As a result, the spotlight shifts on Richard. The Webber Method is also brought up by Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and the show’s new plastic surgeon, Lin (Lynn Chen). The residents were told they were “attending for the day” by Richard, and Maggie points out that there are certain individuals who aren’t ready for such a role.
However, Catherine is a member of the medical staff of Team Richard. Bailey might be the one to choose what happens with the approach, but she’s fully behind her spouse. Maggie tries to talk sense into Richard later, but he is enraged that she humiliated him at the M&M. Richard is upset. Sulking, he begs her to leave him alone before he says something he will later regret.
Firstly, the resident’s fear of doing anything without an attending’s approval after the M&M, at least everybody but Zaiver Sinnett, that is. Secondly, on the day that Link tells a woman to lose 10 to 15 pounds because her legs are numb, Perez speaks up. A patient’s weight should not be used as a scapegoat, as Perez correctly points out. As it turned out, the woman already had a condition known as foot drop. Later, Bailey teaches Link about how insurance firms are still exploiting body mass index to defraud bigger patients out of cash. One of Amelia’s former patients, a woman who suffers excruciating agony during her periods, is this week’s second patient. Since Jo had had a one-night fling with Link, Carina joins the case along with Jo’s protégé, who is immediately awkward around Amelia.
Finally, Maggie and Mer have managed to appease Richard at the very end of the episode. They assure him that they are aware of his noble intentions but that his system is flawed. As a result, Bailey informs Richard that she intends to put an end to the Webber Method. When she realized she hadn’t expressed her reservations about the method upfront, she felt bad for him. Richard, on the other hand, insists that she did. He explains, “I had my wife override you.” “It wasn’t fair, and I’m sorry I did it,” she said.
