Gotham season five has already been confirmed by FOX. They announced that the popular series would be getting its fifth and final season. The show lasted five seasons, and I believe that’s enough for any good TV show. Of course, there are many shows which continue to air for so many years. Most of them just try to milk money from the fans because of the popularity that the show had initially gained. But, this doesn’t look to be the case for Gotham. They’re keeping it short and concise with just five seasons.
The release date for the final season of Gotham hasn’t been confirmed yet but, it’s been more or less confirmed that the fifth season will air in 2019, which isn’t that far away. According to the rumors, we will be getting the fifth season in September 2019, but that’s just a rumor. The exact release date has not been announced yet but, we will update you accordingly when we get the news. We might actually find the release date soon as Warner Bros announced that the series’ stars and producers will be appearing at New York Comic-Con on October 7. So, it’s pretty obvious that we’re going to get more news about the series.
Now moving to the cast of the final season. Considering that the fifth season will be the last, the majority of the cast will be coming back. Here is the possible cast for Gotham season 5 —
Ben McKenzie as James Gordon
Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock
David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne
Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.
Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin
Erin Richards as Barbara Kean
Camren Bicondova as Seline Kyle/Cat
Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/Riddler
In the fifth season, we will see Bruce Wayne taking up the role of the superhero vigilante. According to FOX, “The fifth and final season will wrap up this unique origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, which revealed an entirely new chapter that has never been told.”
