About God’s Game We Play
Before we get to know about the main subject of the topic, we should get into a brief introduction of the series first. As I have already mentioned, the series came out as a light novel series by author Sazane Kei, other than “God’s Game we Play” he is famous for his works “Naze Boku no Sekai wo Dare mo Oboeteinainoka?”, “Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden”, Sekai no Owari no Sekairoku” and many other light novel series. In the creation of God’s Game we Play Sazane was accompanied by the illustrator Torio Tomose. The novel was published by Kadokawa, which dropped out its first volume in January 2021. The novel is still ongoing as the 4th volume of the novel will drop out on 25th January 2022. It is not going to be surprised if I tell you that the light novel has already been adapted into a manga series.
The manga adaption of the novel was created by the artist Kapiko Toriumi that was published by Kadokawa publications. It began to serialize in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine in August 2021. The manga came out to be super popular because of its plot and somewhat because of its genre. The whole series belongs to the Ecchi genre, which is strictly not recommended for underaged people. Even though it won’t have an explicit depiction of sexual things, it still will provide some strong R-rated scenes, which can be offensive to some people and not at all suitable for the underaged.
God’s Game We Play Plot
The plot of the series “God’s Game we Play” goes around supreme gods who seem to have a lot of time in their hands. In order to kill some time, they created an intellectual game which they titled “Kamigami no Asobi”. This is the reason why the literal meaning of the title of the series is “Gods are Hungry for the game”. There we get to know the protagonists of the series, Reche former goddesses declared that she will be participating in this game and will find a compatible human to be her companion in this game. She began her search, and in the end, she selected a young man and a total rookie named Fey. The series sounds so interesting as it targets the journey of Reche and Fey participating in the “Kamigami no Asobi” along with their growing relationship.
