George Pratt Shultz, aka George Shultz, was born on 13 December 1920 in New York City. He grew up in Englewood, New Jersey. George was the only child of Birl Earl Shultz and Margaret Lennox. He also served as a Dean at the Graduate School of Business from 1962 to 1968. Later, in 1969 he left the position of Dean at Graduate School of Business and started serving under President Richard Nixon.
After a few years, he again left the Nixon administration. And in 1974, he became an executive at Bechtel. Later, he also got an offer to serve as United States Secretary of State.
