Sword Art Online has kept its known presence in the anime industry for quite some time ever since its first season, however anime formatted episodes are not the only thing that sells from underneath this franchise title. Ever since the success of the anime’s first season, a second season, and even a movie, it seems game developers became interested with the title and wanted to make something for Sword Art Online, but in the gaming industry. So with that said, today we are going to be discussing Sword Art Online – Fatal Bullet!

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently streamed a trailer for the game. The game is set to release in Japan on February 8th, 2018. The developers behind Sword Art Online – Fatal Bullet are from a company called Dimps. Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet will be a third person shooter RPG (role playing game) based in the Gun Gale Online virtual-reality multiple online RPG.
Sword Art Online – Fatal Bullet will be the first game of the franchise to be available on Xbox One and PC and will be the first game in the franchise to resemble the Gun Gale Online system.
Light Novel Creator, Reki Kawahara) will be supervising the game. The story mode for the game will be determined based upon the decisions you as a player makes throughout the game. Players of Sword Art Online – Fatal Bullet will :

Characters from the past Sword Art Online (anime, novels, and games) will also be available and make an appearance in Sword Art Online – Fatal Bullet. The game will run on the Unreal Engine 4 utilizing that power to create stunning and realistic visuals focusing on Gun Battles. Players will also have the opportunity to face off against bosses in co-op as well as doing four versus four battles together!
