Overwatch’s uprising event will return this April. Blizzard has launched a second teaser for the upcoming event. This time the event will focus more on real-world situations like the Lunar New Year, Christmas etc.

Overwatch’s Uprising event features:

The players will get to have their hands on the game’s Brawl mode and skins from last year once again. However, from the ending of the teaser, it seems that it might be possible to have another Brawl mode this event.

Whatever the case may be, Blizzard is in upfront to ensure that players will have something new this April. Like the last year, player vs player co-op mode is also a possibility. Still nothing can be said at this moment. Here is the tweet from Blizzard:

The Uprising mode is usually a four-player co-op mission where players battle invading Omnic robots. Blizzard said that the latest Uprising “turns back the clock, giving you the chance to relive a pivotal moment in Overwatch history.”

It basically means that in this year’s event, players could also join Tracer. She is set to make a debut on her first ever mission in Uprising’s cooperative brawl.

There are also more than 100 loot boxes waiting for the players to grab them.

Game director Jeff Kaplan said that the Anniversary event would be providing the players with an opportunity to gain the exclusive rewards from last year. According to a tweet from Blizzard, The Overwatch Uprising event will release on April 10.

This is how Blizzard explains last year’s event:
