In this post, we will be talking about GTA 6 release date message on GTA V and if its hoax or not. Rockstar hasn’t been revealing anything about GTA 6 and even after all these years, the ongoing success of GTA V makes it hard for us to theorize anything for the upcoming game in the series. The only thing we know is the production of GTA 6 which began in 2016. With all this mystery the community is getting very much anxious, and anything regarding GTA VI sparks up a mighty discussion.
GTA 6 Release Date?
Such was the case as recently, a few days ago, players received a strange message in GTA V online which so as confirmed the release date of the upcoming GTA VI. The message appeared on the bottom left hand and right above the map of the game. The message read, “Rockstar Message GTA 6 Coming 2019,” and, “it’s available for pre-order right now.” The text message looked legit, as it had the same unique font and legit Rockstar logo with it. Note: Only PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC versions of the game were receiving this message.
But, it was quite a shock to know that all of this hype was for nothing and all of this rumors and the special message was just fake, and it was all doings of a hacker who himself came forward and cleared the confusions made by him. Rockstar games have also responded to this issue which left many players heartbroken. The hacker came forward with a special message which was displayed in the same location as the GTA VI message.
GTA V Hack – The Truth
The message read, “Hope you all had a laugh. Hopefully, Rockstar will implement some new anti-cheat now.” Rockstar Games has also responded with a tweet which read, “This is a hoax made with the use of mods and not an official message or statement from Rockstar Games. *OV.” The hacker also tweeted a message for Rockstar which read, “I love your work, but, you could use some improved anti-cheat. Your game is so nice: protect what you made. And I don’t see how going after specific developers will fix the issue either. I doubt you need help, but if you do, I’m here.”
This hacker is not just an ordinary modder but, actually quite skilled to breach into the system and had the credibility to do something like that. Many experts in the modding community believe that this is not over and Rockstar might call this guy to make their system better. Rockstar’s current focus is The Red Dead Redemption 2 which will be released on 26th October 2018.
