Game Of Thrones Season 8: When Will It Premiere?

Game of Thrones fans have had a tough year. When it was announced that the final season of Game of Thrones would air in 2019 instead of 2018, most people didn’t know how to react. We already knew that the show was coming to an end with Season 8, and on top of that, we had an extra year of waiting to do. But, we’ve come a long way since then.

Now, we just have to wait for less than a year to be able to see Game of Thrones Season 8. The primary reason for the delay in release date was the filming. Since Winter had come, Game of Thrones Season 8 needed to be shot in cold and freezing places. For that purpose, most of the shooting took place during December 2017, and the following months. Shooting for the show officially wrapped up a few months back, and now they should be working on post-production stuff.

Game of Thrones Season 8: When Will It Come Out?

With all of the main stuff having ended, when can we expect Game of Thrones Season 8 to come out? Well, we don’t have a definite answer yet. But, we can always speculate. Game of Thrones used to come out in April. Season 7 was delayed by a few months, and instead of April, it came out in the month of July. This delay was caused by the need to shoot some scenes in Winter as well.

This time around, I think they have enough time to do most of the stuff in 2018, and since we’re getting the show back in 2019, I think HBO will be aiming for an early release. I would like the show to be back as early as January, but I don’t think that’s what they’re going to do. The show will likely be back in April and will premiere in the last week, in my opinion. Game of Thrones Season 8 is going to be incredible, but it will also be sad at the same time.

We have all been waiting for Winter, but the show will end it. I hope at least the ending is satisfying for us. Although Sophie Turner recently told people that the ending wouldn’t please everyone. Some will love it, and others will not be satisfied whatsoever. Sophie herself was left distraught by the conclusion, and I wonder what the reaction of most of the fans will be.
