Frieren: Beyond Journeys End, also known as sousou no Frieren, is a Japanese manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Plot

The main adventure of the series that follows Frieren began when she returned after 50 years back to her homeland and found that Himmel, who was a human, died of aging.
She felt sorry for not getting to know more about him and decided to stay there taking care of Fern. After she started receiving the requests to travel far north to the resting places of souls, she began her quest along with Fern. Throughout the life journey of Frieren, her passion for learning magic remained constant.
