After Epic purchased developer Mediatonic, fans of Fall Guys, the charming battle royale game, may be justified in expecting bigger and better things. Big changes and collaborations are coming soon, based on what players know about Fall Guys Season 7 so far. Fall Guys was released in early 2020 and rapidly gained a following thanks to its chaotic, fast gameplay and vibrant characters.
Fall Guys takes a different approach to competitive battle royale games by encouraging players to engage in tasks with their fellow beans rather than killing them. Even when the Fall Guys appear to be dead, they aren’t. At any given time, Fall Guys can have up to 60 players rushing and pushing for the same goal. This means things on screen can get a little crazy, but that just adds to the pleasure.
Fall Guys is one of the most popular games of 2020, combining a relaxing atmosphere with some of the game’s most hilarious moments. The game has gained popularity and has its own loyal fans thanks to its fast-paced battle royale premise and amusing components. Each season brings fresh material to the game, such as cosmetics, new maps, limited-time events, and a plethora of awards. Fans are eagerly anticipating the debut of Season 7 of Fall Guys, which was recently released.
The seventh season of Fall Guys is in the works, and it will have a futuristic theme. While previous seasons of Fall Guys have featured partnerships, this season may offer one of the most significant crossovers yet. Season 7 hasn’t been revealed yet, but fans can expect a lot of fun.
About Fallguys & Gameplay
Battle royale-style gameplay pits up to 60 players against each other. Players travel around a three-dimensional playing surface as jellybean-like creatures, with extra moves including jumping, grabbing/climbing, and diving to aid gameplay. The goal is to complete each of the randomly assigned mini-games in order to advance to the next round. Some mini-games require participants to dash towards a finish line at the map’s end, while others need teamwork. Obstacles occur all throughout the map in each mini-game, adding to the level of difficulty. Players that are too slow get stuck in pink slime or fail to meet specific mini-game requirements are eliminated.
The remaining players participate in the last match using a randomly generated mini-game intended for a smaller player size in the final round. The last player standing wins the match. Players can buy cosmetics and emotes for their characters to display in-game using an in-game currency called “Kudos.” Kudos are earned by completing matches, while “Crowns” are earned when a match is won. Microtransactions are available in the game to acquire more in-game currency. Season 4 introduced the “Crown Shards” currency, which players may acquire by participating in Squad Mode or completing daily challenges. Crown Shards are exchangeable for more Crowns. New costumes are added on a regular basis, and most of them are only available for a short period. Some are characters from various franchises, such as Gordon Freeman from Half-Life, Godzilla from his franchise.
Other characters include P-Body from Portal 2, Sonic the Hedgehog from his franchise, Scout from Team Fortress 2, Jacket from Hotline Miami, Doomguy from the Doom series, both Ratchet and Clank from the Ratchet & Clank video game series, Cuphead and Mugman from the video game Cuphead, or an Astronaut skin with an egg on its head from the video game Among Us. Fall Guys releases new seasons every 2 to 4 months, with each season featuring a different theme and additional material. Squad Mode was introduced in Season 4, and it allows a group of four players to work together to earn points, advance to the next round, and earn Crown Shards.
Changes Introduced In Fallguys Season 5
After Season 4 finished on July 20, 2021, Season 5 of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout began. Season 6 began on November 30th, 2021, and concluded on November 30th, 2022. On July 13, 2021, a jigsaw puzzle revealing the season’s Jungle Adventure theme was released. The entire fame pass, Squads Duos and Squads Trios, and two additional rounds, Treetop Tumble and Lily Leapers, were all revealed in a “Big Streamus” broadcast on July 19, 2021. Later that day, the patch notes were released, revealing the remaining four rounds: Lost Temple, Bubble Trouble, Pegwin Pool Party, and Stompin’ Ground, as well as the Limited-Time Events. In comparison to Season 4, the fame totals on the renowned path have been modified slightly higher.
A new upgrade, entitled “5. Fun,” was launched on August 31, 2021. Many rounds received level variations, as well as Sum Fruit, a new Logic round (the first since Perfect Match). On October 5, 2021, a new version was published, with the game’s user interface being overhauled. New player bots were also secretly introduced; these bots would only appear if all of the other players in the lobby were new, and they were programmed to always leave before the Final. As a result, if bots are present in the game, only specific rounds can be chosen (and the same round can be chosen many times in a show). These include, but are not limited to, Gate Crash, Door Dash, Perfect Match, Knight Fever, and Roll Out.
New Changes Introduced In Fallguys Season 6
Season 6 of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout began on November 30, 2021, after Season 5 finished, while Season 7 has yet to premiere. The videos, rounds, gameplay, costumes, features, the fame path, interviews, and the debut date were all revealed via a live stream named “Big Streamus 2: The Dabbening” on November 23, 2021.
In comparison to Season 5, the fame path’s totals were rebalanced. While the lower levels now demand far more Famous than their equal levels in the previous fame path, the gain in Fame to the following level stops considerably earlier (maxing out at 610 Fame between levels 11 and 12), resulting in a reduced overall Fame requirement. This adjustment was made to prevent players from clearing many levels quickly in the first episode of the new season, according to Lead Game Designer Joe Walsh.
Cross-progression is introduced in Season 6, allowing things to be transported across platforms. Players will be asked to register an Epic Games account as a result. The option to arrange cross-platform parties was teased and subsequently added to the game with the 6.Smoshsmay (which rhymes with ‘crossplay’) mid-season update on February 22, 2022.
Fall Guys Season 7 Release Date
Fall Guys Season 7 release date is not confirmed yet. A crossover with Among Us will be featured in the upcoming season, formally bringing the two enormously popular games together for the first time.
Until the release of Season 7, the Fall Guys team announced on Twitter that the game would award double Fame points. Players who haven’t yet completed level 40 on the Fame route have until March 22 to rack up the extra points. New costumes, neon-filled environments, and Rounds are all part of Season 7 of Fall Guys. Nobody knows if the developers opted to address the way Guys eat just yet, but anything might happen at this time.
Fall Guys Season 7 Trailer
The Fall Guys Season 7 trailer may be as charming as it is thrilling for fans. It all starts with a Fall Guy falling off the side of a map, incubating in womb-like slime, and then resurfacing in 4041 in stylish new attire. The Guy dashes through a neon city, crossing platforms of light. The time has begun to see the future. After the new season’s release date flashes across the screen, a clip of a Fall Guy dropping into a pool of lava flashes across the screen with the words “Fall Guy plopping into a pool of lava.” “Fall Guy has been kicked out of the game. There is still one Imposter.”
The trailer received mixed reviews. Season 7 has some fans predicting that it will be the best season ever, while others believe the game is “dead.” Many fans questioned whether Fall Guys or Among Us was the better game in the past, with some even staging fictitious rap battles to illustrate their point. The pairing of the two popular multiplayer games appears to show that franchises don’t have to be adversarial. Some people are able to get along.
New Features In Fall Guys Season 7?
The trailer for Season 7 of Fall Guys suggests that there will be a crossover with Among Us, the perennially popular bluffing game that continues to be released on new systems. “Will you be attending this banned bean gather up?” one Fall Guys tweet asked. A gif of a crewmember-styled bean falling into a pit of lava was also included in the tweet, which is one of the ways characters in Among Us might die.
Mediatonic and Innersloth teased that the Among Us clothes will be more than just decorative and that there would be additional “secrets and peculiarities for players to uncover when they arrive”. While most Fall Guy outfits just change the appearance of the character, the game’s inclusion of Among Us may signal a departure. Fall Guys is now available on PC and PlayStation, with Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions to follow later this year.
