What We Currently Know About Giyu & Rengoku-San?
Now let’s talk about the current detail we have already known about these two fan-favorite Hashiras. Giyu Tomioka was the first Hashira we ever encountered and the one who spared Nezuko despite converting into a demon. He was the one who motivated and encouraged Tanjiro to become a demon slayer and avenge his family, His water breathing is on the next level and multiple times more powerful than Tanjiro’s. The full prowess of Giyu is still unknown, and he has not engaged in a deadly battle yet. If we talk about his personality, He looks cold-hearted, Muscular, and very much handsome, but he has a clean heart with a caring persona.
On the other hand, We know very much about Rengoku after the Demon Slayer’s first movie, Mugen Train. This was the first time we ever saw Hashira’s full might and the will to save lives. Rengoku belonged to a very conventional family and was the first son of Shinjuro Rengoku. His father didn’t want him to become Hashira however his will to protect everyone around took him where he should be. He mastered fire breathing style and was even able to perform some of the skills that can take several years to perform. He fought a grave battle with Akaza, The Upper Rank 3 demon but sadly, Killed by him miserably. From that day, Tanjiro and his team took a vow to become stronger. Tanjiro even visited Rengoku’s home after his death to talk about his father and younger brother and certainly changed the heart of his father.
