With every genre of drama, the supernatural genre continues to be a hit as well. Evil Season 1, when it arrived on Netflix, was a huge hit, and it smashed all industry expectations surrounding it. Naturally, it was bound to get another season, and that’s exactly what happened. That being said, Evil Season 2 has been a hit and is so far well received by the audience members.
Ever since the show was moved from its home network CBS and added to Netflix, as you may have guessed, it won a crop of more new subscribers who just couldn’t resist the terrific plot of the show. The show was at the same time also added to the CBS streaming service, which is officially as well as more popularly called CBS All Access. Evil is also available on Paramount+ and thus far has scored decent ratings for itself. Keep in mind the show still is in its early stage on Paramount+ and therefore has huge potential in the near future on the streaming service.
Our hope is that Evil Season 3 will supersede the second season. But when is it coming out after all? Please keep reading all the important details about the third season of the supernatural series down below.
The first season of the show won major subscribers very quickly and went on to become a major hit. Unfortunately, it is way too soon to have a release date for the show, and it’s way too soon to even confirm whether or not the show has been green-lit by the networks. Judging by the performance of season 2, it’s obvious Evil Season 3 will be renewed. When and how that happens remains to be seen. We’ll update the page as soon as we catch the latest info on this.
Evil Season 3: Plot
The show that has been broadcast on CBS, Netflix, and Paramount+ follow the life and times of forensic pathologist Dr. Kirsten Bouchard. She is played by the famous sci-fi Westworld actress Katja Herbers. Other cast members of the series include Catholic seminarian David Acosta portrayed by Luke Cage’s Mike Colter and technology contractor Ben Shakir played by former the suave Daily Show correspondent Aasif Mandvi. Together the team investigates the oddball supernatural incidents and occurrences that happened in their town.
If and when Evil Season 3 comes back for broadcast, it will keep up the supernatural occurrences in the plot. The overall theme will remain the same, but there will be minor changes in the B-plots of the show; our best guess is that Kirsten and Mike Colter will be upped from their previous plot. Last time around, fans could definitely sense some chemistry there, but it remains to be seen how things pan out. Season 2 was available on Paramount+ June 20 onwards.
