Universe 11 Is Cheating And Jiren Is Just A Puppet – Dragon Ball Super

One thing I have been wondering for a while is “How or Why is Jiren so strong? And why is the God of Destruction of Universe 11 Belmod is much more confident that Jiren, and Toppo, but more so Jiren will win the Tournament of Power?

It got me thinking, that maybe Belmod know’s something no one else knows. Is it possible that the God of Destruction, Belmod is cheating in some way.. In this Article I’m going to outline a few things why I started to think Belmod is possibly cheating. Let’s talk about it!

First thing’s first, Jiren’s strength! From what little has been seen of Jiren, and the talks of Jiren his power and strength is off the chart, and basically unmatched by any mortal that we know of. Yeah, you can say Jiren is either old, or a certain Mortal Race that can become stronger with training, and focus, but that doesn’t explain everything. We found out that Hit is thousands of years old, and is able to increase his strength and ability when needed. Even Hit doesn’t even come close to Jiren’s raw power and strength. When it comes down to it, Jiren on the surface sounds like a God of Destruction..

Next, is Belmod’s nonparticipating when the other God’s of Destruction were testing the Tournament of Power’s fighting stage. Why would someone of Belmod’s power back down from an innocent little sparring match? Especially when there are no consequences to the battle/sparring match which normally happens when God’s of Destruction battle or spar. You would think, someone with the title of God of Destruction, you would cease every opportunity to battle, more so when you have the Great Priest’s blessings! Could Belmod’s Ki be limited, or drained in some way?

Last thing was in the preview for Episode 108, you see a short snipet of Belmod either Telepathically communicating, or even giving energy or Ki directly to Jiren, and only Jiren. Could this be why Jiren is so strong?

Is this why Belmod is so much more confident that Universe 11 will be the one’s victorious! If Belmod is giving Ki or energy to Jiren, that could explain why Jiren is so powerful, he would have his normal strength on top of the energy of a God of Destruction! It could also explain why Belmod declined to participate in the sparring match with the other God’s of Destruction, out of fear the other God’s would sense something was up with his energy.

So, these are my thoughts as to why Jiren could be so powerful, and why Belmod is so confident. What are your thoughts? Do you think Belmod is cheating? Let’s keep the conversation going by leaving your idea’s and opinions in the comments down below! As always, thanks for reading!

Universe 1 Is The New Enemy? Evil Supreme Kai?

One thing that stuck out to me in the latest episode of Dragon Ball Super was Universe 1. Even tho, they are not participating a light was shown on some of the characteristics of the Supreme Kai of Universe 1, Anat!

Something interesting was shown, and said by the Supreme Kai of Universe 1’s Anat. It got me thinking, and reminded of someone the Z-Fighter’s had to fight a little while ago.. Zamasu! It’s rare when a Supreme Kai become evil or tainted, and when another Supreme Kai shows signs of possibly being evil, it needs to be noticed!

In the newest episode of Dragon Ball Super, Episode 107, the other Universe’s not participating in the Tournament of Power were shown talking about how they feel about the Tournament of Power, and what has happened so far.

For the most part it was mostly disbelief, shock, and some predictions. Besides 1 Universe, more particularly the Supreme Kai representing the Universe with the highest Mortal rating, Universe 1’s Anat! Anat was shown being very condescending towards the other Universe’s with lower Mortal ranking, and in some ways even threatening!

One thing that stuck out the most to me, was when Anat looking down at everyone fighting in the Tournament of Power in a very classic “Japanese Manga/Anime” evil way and says something like “No matter, nothing will ever change!”. This to me says that Anat has a grudge against the Universe’s with lower Mortal rankings.

The last time we saw an issue similar to this, Zamasu was hijacking Goku’s body and raging war in the future! Could the Zamasu/Black Arc been a warning or a sign of what’s to come? Could Anat be so frustrated and angered by….

  1. Hi Thomas,

Jiren is the main event, who is capable enough fight Son Goku. If your theory still stands then same theory applies to the Son Goku because Beerus is more confident about Goku and V.

Jiren is the guy, whom cannot be beaten by God of destruction. Son Goku is also reaching that l;evel day by day 🙂

    What do you think?

    • It still hasn’t been proven that Jiren is the mortal that is stronger then a God of Destruction. He very well could be, and if he is, then yes Goku and Jiren will be the main event. They may take a break but that’s the main fight of the Tournament I think. We could be proven wrong, someone like Frieza or Gohan may take us all by surprise 🙂

  2. I’m believe that jiren is not getting his power from a god he has surpassed his god becarse a god that destroys and kill the innocent is evil jiren is part of a team who fight for justice so he might of trained or has a special ability that help him surpass his god so he might just be stronger or equal to a god of destruction

    • That’s a really good theory and thought man! The only reason why I think this, is because even tho Jiren is a good guy, good guys have been known to “go against the grain” in order for the survival of their people..

  3. The test match which was held before the warriors arrived at the fighting stage was only for the gods of destruction of the exempt universes from the tournament of power, how would belmod even think about an innocent little sparring bout when his universe is at stake, besides this the god of destruction of universe 12 aka gene backed out of the sparring match, your theory says it was belmod, who wasn’t even present on the spot during that time

    • People make mistakes, I recalled Belmod being asked why he doesn’t want to participate in the sparring match. It very well could of been Gene. I’ll go back and watch that episode

  4. I heard about this theory, of Jiren being the puppet of Belmond. Another theory I heard is that Jiren and Belmond have a contract and Blemond his sharing his strenght with Jiren, but I think is most likely Jiren a puppet (Jiren looks like he doesn’t have a personality).
In a way, Belmond not as good as we think, is repetitive (they already used this trope with Frost not long ago), so I hope in something different. But Belmond looking like a clown, and being partly inspired to Joker, makes me think that this trope will repeat again.

Or, it would be more interesting if we know that Jiren is actually the true God of Destruction, and the puppet is Belmond instead.

I don’t think Anat is evil. Another evil kaio after Zamasu would be a narrative mistake, too big even for Dragon Ball. I think when he said that, he meant ‘anyway our universe is safe!’

    • It’s definitely some good points there for sure! It does seem like there’s something off about Jiren.. Jiren looks like he’s lacking in the personality department, like somethings missing. As for what could be going on with Belmod, it could really be a number of things, this is Dragon Ball after all right? haha literally anything could happen, but I don’t see Jiren being the actual GoD, just because all other GoD’s and Angel’s and even the Great Priest would of noticed by now. But everything else sounds really good!

  5. It makes perfect sense. First, it looks like this universe is some kind of mock of DC universe. Belmod is Joker, Margerita is Harley Quinn, Jiren is Superman, Dyspo is Flash, and so on. Then, when you think more about clowns (and Joker), you will realise that clowns are often masters of the ceremony in circus, ringleaders. That means they are somewhat in charge of what is happening on the stage. Sounds reasonable.

    • That’s actually a really good thought man! We all know Toriyama loves getting inspiration from other work like comic books featuring super heroes, or even other manga like Sailor Moon.

  6. This doesn’t make sense. Are you saying Belmod is so powerful he can fool Zen-Oh/Future Zen-Oh (well, possibly them but certainly not Great Priest)? Jiren’s power is legit. When Raditz came, everyone saw his power was unreal. The same could be said when Vegeta came. Let’s not forget Cell/Freiza/Boo/etc. Goku needed a powerful opponent in order for him to rise to the next level. I suspect now that Goku has tasted Ultra Instinct, he’ll push himself to attain it again. Remember how difficult it was for them to become a Super Saiyan? In the beginning, it was hard but, over time, it became easy. The same will be said for Ultra Instinct. Still, I’d prefer the new power to be the “next” Saiyan form. I’d be ok if the writers do have a new form but saving it for the next arc.

    • All the people you mentioned were not even close to the power of a God of Destruction… That’s why I think there is something going on between Jiren and Belmod.. Why would a God of Destruction being okay with a Mortal who is stronger then him?
