Hey everyone! Dragon Ball Super Episode 127 aired a couple of hours ago, and in this post, I want to talk about Jiren’s past. Before I begin with this post, I want to let you all know that this post contains spoilers. I you haven’t watched the episode yet, I suggest that you do so first. However, if you don’t mind being spoiled, or if you’ve watched the episode already, then let’s get started.
Jiren is one of the strongest characters in the entire Dragon Ball Super series. He is so powerful that even Goku and Vegeta at their full power cannot hope to defeat him in battle. Of course, he has trained himself to get to that level, and the amount of effort that he would’ve put in would be insane. Today, we found out a little about Jiren’s past, and it really surprised me, although some of it was something that you would easily have guessed.
This happened when Android 17’s wish was heard by Belmod, and in retaliation, he told him a little about Jiren. Jiren had a family, which was killed by a bad guy. Everyone in his family was slaughtered, except for him. The little broken boy was the taken in by a person who later became his teacher, and trained him, and taught him everything, including how to fight. Jiren also gathered a lot of allies, and together, they fought this bad guy once again.
But, they all lost once again. Everyone was killed again. Jiren lost his comrades, and even his teacher. He decided that Justice was the only power, and ended up training himself to crazy levels, which is why he is where he is currently. All this was revealed by Belmod himself.
This is somehow got something to do with Jiren’s wish as well, but we don’t really know what it actually is. He might want to bring back everyone that was killed. That’s probably it. On a separate note, the thought of someone like Jiren being beaten is something that really shocked me. How strong was this bad guy? How much power did he have? Obviously, Jiren wasn’t as strong as he is right now, but still, to be able to slaughter so many people would require power.
We don’t know what happened to the bad guy either. He might not even be alive. Maybe Jiren killed him, but as we know already, killing is against his principle. Maybe he wants more power to be able to defeat this bad guy, and be able to kill him. This would fit in perfectly with what Belmod had told us. Hopefully, we’ll find out more about his past soon enough.
The Only Way To Beat Jiren Revealed In Latest DBS Episode
Dragon Ball Super Episode 127 aired today, and I think the episode was pretty good. We had a couple of decent moments here and there, and the second half of the episode was considerably better than the first half. Universe 7 began their fight against Universe 11’s Jiren in a 3 on 1 battle. However, this time, Jiren didn’t hold back.
He unleashed all that had within him, and the result was a bitter defeat for Universe 7’s Goku, and Vegeta. Even Freeza sprung forth for a moment, only to be subdued by Jiren moments later. Jiren’s power cannot be matched easily, and while everyone knew this, Jiren broke the hopes of most people today.
Interestingly enough, Jiren did the one big injury in today’s episode, and that injury was dealt to him by Android 17. Everyone thought that it would be either Goku, or Vegeta, or maybe even Freeza. But, nobody really thought 17 would be the one to catch Jiren off guard. Even though 17’s hit did injure his body as well, he succeeded in wounding Jiren, and tore off his clothes a bit as well.
This is where it hit Goku; Jiren can be Injured by using big attacks in the moment of his lack of concentration. It may sound a bit obvious, but that’s actually the only way one can even hope of hurting Jiren. This monster just cannot be injured! No matter what you try, or what you throw his way, he cannot be hurt.
Will this strategy be utilized against Jiren to hurt him once more? I don’t think so. For one, Goku was hurt really badly by the end of today’s episode. Vegeta and Jiren are the only ones standing.
