Goku is Secretly Trying To Push Himself To Break His Limit

Hey everyone! Today, I’m going to be talking about Dragon Ball Super’s latest episode, which is episode 118, and a big thing that nobody noticed from it. Now, like always, I wanna let you guys know that this post will events from the Episode 118 of Dragon Ball Super, so if you haven’t watched the episode yet, I suggest that you do, in order to avoid any spoilers.

So, if you already have watched the episode, let’s continue. Since about a week, Episode 118 was being teased as a major episode, that would end with the erasure of a Universe. Turns out, it wasn’t one Universe that was getting erased, it was multiple Universes. Two to be precise. Heles’ Universe 2, and Champa’s Universe 6 were both erased in what was an extremely emotional episode.

While the more interesting part was the one that was focused on Gohan and Piccolo, and their fight against the Universe 6 Namekians, that’s not what I want to talk about. I want to talk about Goku, and his fight against the Universe 2’s remaining warriors. In order to defeat them, Goku had to unleash a Kamehameha wave. However, what many people didn’t notice that it was only when he used Kaio-ken alongside the Kamehameha for a split-second did he win.

That’s right. Goku did resort to using Kaio-ken blue once again to break through the Universe 2 Black hole. While this doesn’t mean anything on surface, it actually has huge significance. This is where Whis comes in. If you might remember, Whis was talking about Goku and the Ultra Instinct towards the end of the episode.

He basically said that it won’t be easy for Goku to attain Ultra Instinct from here on out. Previously, what we saw was Goku went Kaio-ken x20, and drained his energy. However, at the very moment he felt out of energy, Ultra Instinct awakened. Both of these times, Goku needed to push to the very pinnacle of his limits to attain the Ultra Instinct.

However, now, it will get harder. Whis specifically stated that in making himself stronger, and challenging himself, he is raising the bar, and now the chances for him to break through his shell have lowered significantly. This doesn’t mean that Goku won’t be attaining Ultra Instinct in the Tournament of Power. Instead, it means that for Goku, Ultra Instinct will now be a lot harder to attain. Maybe not even after Blue Kaio-ken x20. But, there’s no way he’ll defeat Jiren without that. So, we’ll have to wait and see how he gets Ultra Instinct for the third time.

DBS SPOILERS: Vegeta’s Fate In Tournament of Power

Hey everyone! Today, I wanna talk about Vegeta, and his fate in the Tournament of Power. In the last episode, we saw how Universe 2, and Universe 6 got eliminated, and this led to their Erasure. However, there are still 4 Universes left, and there’s no time to stop for our Universe 7 warriors.

The next episode of Dragon Ball Super, Episode 119, is going to be focused on Universe 4, and their attack on Universe 7 warriors most of whom are tired already. From the preview, it was clear that almost everyone from Universe 7 was fighting Universe 4, and this includes Vegeta. It seems Vegeta is going to deal with Katopesla from Universe 3 first, and later turn his attention to the warriors from Universe 4. But, things don’t really look too well for him.

From the preview, it almost seemed like Vegeta was getting eliminated from the Tournament of Power. One of the members of Universe 4, who is invisible, is going to force him off the ring, and will likely try to eliminate him. Many people have been jumping to the conclusion that Vegeta is going to be eliminated. This claim is further backed up by the spoiler that a member from Universe 7 will be eliminated, which is obviously going to be a huge blow to them.

While most people do think it is Vegeta. I digress. Vegeta is not going to be eliminated here, for various reasons. But, the most important reason of them all is that we have a confirmation from Toshio himself. Toshio is one of the writers behind Dragon Ball Super anime, and he has written a certain episode about Vegeta we will get in December or January.

This episode is going to feature Vegeta in the Tournament of Power, and basically, what he said was, he drew Vegeta being cool. So, we haven’t got the Vegeta episode yet.
