Hey everyone! In this post, I want to talk about Dragon Ball Super episode 128. Before I begin this post, I want to let you all know that it may contain spoilers. If you don’t want to be spoiled, I suggest you don’t continue. However, if you don’t mind reading spoilers, then let’s begin. The Tournament of Power is near its end right now, with just 3 minutes remaining.

Jiren is the only member who is left from Universe 11, while Universe 7 still has 3 left. Goku, and Freeza are not in any state to fight. However, Vegeta is standing, and episode 128 is going to be all about Vegeta. According to the spoilers, this is going to be Vegeta’s last fight in the Tournament of Power, as he’s going to be eliminated in the Episode, written by Toshio, as teased earlier.

It is also possible that Freeza will be eliminated in the same episode as well. His elimination has been on the cards for the last few episodes, and according to the animedia preview for Dragon Ball Super Episode 129, Freeza is no longer in the Tournament of Power after Episode 128. There’s a chance that we might see 2 eliminations in the next episode, but there is also a slight chance of seeing yet another death in the next episode.

If you have watched Dragon Ball Super Episode 127, you’d know that at the end, Android 17 blew himself up, and nullified Jiren’s attack. In the process, he bought some time for Goku and Vegeta, and so they were rescued for a while. This was also the first death that we’ve seen in the Tournament of Power so far.

However, it looks like another death is right on the cards, and it is none other than Vegeta. The title of Episode 128 of Dragon Ball Super is “Prideful to the end! Vegeta Falls!”. Not a lot of you may remember this, but when Vegeta sacrificed his life during the Buu Saga, the episode name was something similar to this. The episode in which Vegeta sacrificed himself was episode 237 of Dragon Ball Z.

The title of the episode was “For the sake of my loved ones…Vegeta Falls!” This is similar to the title of Episode 128 of Dragon Ball Super. Toshio already said that he likes to take references for Dragon Ball Z, and tie it down to Super. If this is correct, then Vegeta might be sacrificing himself to buy enough time for Goku to be able to fight Jiren. There’s a chance that Vegeta won’t die, but I think it is a big possibility as of now.
