The main event in episode 116 was Goku Ultra Instincts against Kefla.
I think the battle Kefla vs. Goku was excellent. The animation and art were great as well. You could really feel the intensity as the characters were powering up. The way Goku pulled off that final Kamehameha was absolutely flawless.
That said Kefla’s character shows just how much inconsistency there is with the writing. With everyone stating how powerful she was, she really should have defused along time ago.
I actually thought Kefla would show a sign of Super Saiyan 3 right before the end of the battle. Not fight as Super Saiyan 3, but transforming and being promptly eliminated. Otherwise, it was a perfect fight.
As for Vegeta, I am hoping he figures something out. Vegeta was saying he will be the first to master Ultra instinct before Goku just pretty much confirms that he does not have something else hiding or any other tricks up his sleeves. Which is disappointing, But I still believe that he’ll play a more significant role in some way or another.
One of the rules of the Tournament of Power was not being able to fly. It was even stated that if anyone tried it wouldn’t even work. During the episode, Goku was flying backward just after his transformation, Though it looks like it was just a jump if you look you can clearly see it.
It also happened during Jiren vs. Goku fight when Goku attacked Jiren with Spirit Bomb.
Goku examines if he can fly in the first episode of the tournament, and he can’t. So yes, they actually cannot fly in the world of the void, did you notice Goku flying too?
Goku Won’t Be Himself When He Transforms Into [Spoiler]
Hey everyone! Dragon Ball Super’s latest episode just dropped, and it basically focused on Goku’s battle vs Kafla. If you haven’t watched the episode yet, I suggest you do so because I will be talking about some of the most important things from the episode here.
Previously, we saw that Kafla was completely overpowering Goku in battle, and even though Goku used Super Saiyan God Transformation, it was f no use. Even Super Saiyan Blue didn’t work, which made Goku use Kaio-ken x20 as well, and even then he was only able to land one or two blows on her. Kafla was strong enough to even overpower Goku in Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken state, which is a great feat. So, that’s basically what triggered the Ultra Instinct in Goku this time.
In this week’s episode, Goku was able to completely demolish Kafla. Even though Kalfa went beyond her limits yet again, she was not able to land a single hit on Ultra Instinct Goku, which is something that should be expected of him really. In the Ultra Instinct Omen transformation, Goku’s powers go to a whole new level that we’ve never seen before.
His body starts moving on its own, and it is extremely hard to him him. So far, neither Jiren, nor Kafla have been able to hit Goku. But, the thing is, Goku’s Ultra Instinct isn’t even complete yet. Whis said that Goku cannot land hits properly in this form, because he hant grown completely accustomed to it yet. So, the Goku that we’re seeing right now, is really not him at his maximum power.
