Dragon Ball Super is going to air it’s second last episode on March 18th 2018, fans are heavily rejoiced by episode 129, and the quality of animation in it. As the Tournament of Power is finally entering it’s final stages. And having just Goku (or maybe more.) and Jiren as the remaining fighters now. Dragon Ball Super Episode 130 will be, where we will finally get see the ultimate showdown in the whole Dragon Ball history.

This final showdown is a really important part of Dragon Ball Universe. As there are no Senzu beans, no dragon balls to correct any mistakes, and nor Whis will be helping Universe 7 Reversing time.

Before, going on to Episode 130 and Frieza. Let’s talk a bit about episode 129. As it was focused more on Goku’s efforts using the pre-Ultra Instinct form. Goku hasn’t mastered the form yet and Jiren is still way to tough to beat. Goku actually wanted to eliminate Jiren quickly using a full blast Kamehameha wave the same way he eliminated Kefla. However, Jiren is able to block the attack, leaving Goku with not a lot of options left.

Whis mentions that Goku is “thinking” before he fights, which is preventing him from reaching his full potential. Goku needs to let go of his feelings in order to master Ultra Instinct. Universe 11’s Gods think the fight will soon be over. But, Vegeta makes an interesting observation. He says Saiyans have exceeded expectations throughout this entire tournament and Goku will reach a new level.

From an action standpoint, episode 129 is an awesome episode, because Jiren and Goku pretty much destroy the entire arena. Not to mention the special effects of their aura looks pretty cool as well. Goku manages to master Ultra Instinct automatically, while in a fist fight with Jiren. It’s like he knew instantly about letting go of his feelings in order reach Ultra Instinct’s full potential.

Some people might also be sad to know that Goku doesn’t master Ultra Instinct, until the very end of episode 129. The majority of the episode Goku is only in the pre-stage form of Ultra Instinct. Goku only manages to master it, when Jiren is about to eliminate him, while he’s standing on a small piece of rubble. Somehow, Goku powers up and punches Jiren in the stomach from a long distance.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 129

However, the fight is far from over, because Jiren powers up to his full form, and the fight will continue in episode 130. Episode 129 had lots of cool action and special effects. But, it was disappointing to see mastered Ultra Instinct was only added in the final few moments.

Now Coming to episode 130, which is set to air on March 18th, it’s going to be the final episode. In which we will be seeing “action” and TOP area, as Episode 131 title was already revealed “Goku, Until the Day We Meet Again”.

Episode 129 still didn’t give any information about where Frieza is. But, we know he’s not sitting with other universe seven members and isn’t dead. Technically, Frieza hasn’t been eliminated yet, even though a large chunk of the battlefield has been destroyed by Jiren and Goku.

I have a feeling Frieza’s absence will come into play in next week’s episode. There’s a chance he might be the overall winner of the Tournament of Power! There are chances that Goku and Jiren are still fighting and time runs out. And universe seven actually wins, because Frieza will have two universe seven fighters on stage. Or maybe after universe seven wins Frieza would do something very Ironical and evil, and take the wishes of Super Dragon Ball.

We can hardly say anything with certain surety as Dragon Ball Super is just left with two episodes and there’s no chance of introducing a plot twist, while episode titles are out. In my opinion, Dragon Ball Super has rushed towards the ending, when they could’ve done many things and could have actually made content to last more than 100-200 episodes. As they have introduced many characters and also showed the importance of angels, gods, and even other Universes.
