Hey everyone! Today, I’ll be talking about something that I’m pretty sure you all are going to love, and by the title, you probably know already that I’m going to talk about Dragon Ball Super’s return. The show ended back in March and was arguably the most popular anime at the time. Fans throughout the world enjoyed Dragon Ball Super thoroughly, and when it was announced that the show would end after the Tournament of Power, everyone was left disappointed.
Most clung to the statement that the show was on a hiatus, which later turned out to be true, as a movie sequel was announced pretty soon. By now, we have a lot of details on Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and it’ll be heading to theatres in December of this year. The question then is, will Dragon Ball Super return after the movie ends? Or will that be it for the franchise?
Dragon Ball Super TV Anime Return
Well, we’ve got good news for you all. Dragon Ball Super isn’t going to end with the movie and will be continuing. An anime return isn’t 100% set in stone, but I’m 99% certain that we’ll see Dragon Ball Super return in some form next year. Recently, the main panels for this year’s Jump Festa were announced, and among all the major Shounen names like One Piece, Black Clover, Boruto, My Hero Academia, there is Dragon Ball Super as well.
Jump Festa will be held from December 22, which would mean that the stuff we’ll find out about Dragon Ball Super will be unrelated to the Broly movie, as it would’ve already aired at that point. What we’ll find out will be brand new information, and usually get is the information related to anime.
I’m expecting Dragon Ball Super to return to TV next year, and if I had to guess, it’d probably return in Summer 2019. An early release is also possible if the show does return. I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.
