Dragon Ball Super is returning this week, and if you don’t know about it yet, we’re here to let you know on what this means. As you all may know, Dragon Ball Super ended back in March 2018, and we were told that it was not going to return anytime soon. We weren’t told when a return would happen, or if if would happen at all, but all we knew was that Dragon Ball Super is continuing in the manga, and that the new movie is a sequel to the anime.
This basically tells us that Super is going to return at some point. The upcoming Sunday marks the first step in Dragon Ball Super returning as a One-Hour Dragon Ball Super special is going to air that day. You heard it right; we’re getting Dragon Ball Super back next Sunday! Now some of you may be wondering about what the contents of the special will be, and I’ll answer you question.
Dragon Ball Super: One-Hour Special
Before I continue, I want to let you all know that the exact contents of the special haven’t been revealed to us. Therefore, I cannot be 100% sure when I say this, but it seems the upcoming episode is going to be about the Broly movie. From what we know, Dragon Ball Super: Broly is premiering in Japan on December 14, and so, they’re airing a One-Hour Dragon Ball Super special to hype up the movie, it seems. I don’t mind that, really. In fact, I’m just excited to see Dragon Ball Super back.
They may tell us about some of the behind-the-scenes stuff from the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, or we may see an interview with the Voice Actors and the staff that has worked on the movie. All I know is that Dragon Ball Super’s special is going to be related to the Broly movie somehow. The time-slot for the Dragon Ball Super special remains the same as it was before. The One Piece anime is on break next week, so the Dragon Ball Super special will air in its place on Fuji TV.
