Dragon Ball Super is airing a One-Hour Special this Sunday, and fans are really excited to see it return to TV once again. Dragon Ball Super wrapped up in March 2018, and it has been a very long time since we’ve got to see some decent Dragon Ball related content. I believe thr closest we’ve gone since then is Dragon Ball Heroes, but it isn’t something that I like.
Dragon Ball Super: One-Hour Special Spoilers
If rather watch the three trailers for Dragon Ball Super: Broly than watch Dragon Ball Heroes. Surprisingly, we are getting a one-hour Dragon Ball Super special this Sunday, and so all the fans are excited. Now, I have good news and I have bad news. So, I’ll start with the good one. Yes, Dragon Ball Super is returning on Sunday in its own timeslot, and it will be related to the movie, and will probably hype up the events of the movie a bit before it actually premieres in Japan on December 14, 2018.
The bad news is that most of the episode is going to be a recap of the Dragon Ball Super anime. That’s right; we’re not getting much original content. In fact, I’m not sure if we’re getting any original content or not. I’m only certain that they’ll hype the movie towards the end because I think that would the right thing to do. However, the majority of the episode is going to be all about the previous arcs, and maybe Tournament of Power in particular.
The entire series is difficult to wedge in one hour, but the Tournament of Power is definitely going to fit in this time. I think that’s what we’re going to get in the next episode and it is definitely a disappointment. But, we may get a prelude to the movie in the last few minutes, and that what I’m hoping for.
