‘Dragon Ball Super Broly’ New Visuals Show Piccolo’s New Aura

Dragon Ball Super Broly is more than just a month away in Japan, and a few weeks away for the early screening this November. Release dates for different countries are also being announced. And recently, a new set of key visuals was released, which gave Piccolo the spotlight that he has been missing for so long.

Dragon Ball Super Broly New Visuals

These images are taken from the Broly’s Back site which can be found here. The site is for the UK fans who want to get more information and ticket alerts for Dragon Ball Super Broly. The site includes the trailer, synopsis, and four new images that can be viewed below. Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, Golden Frieza, and Piccolo’s new form was posted. All of the images are looking amazing, but the most interesting one is Piccolo’s image, which sports a blue aura.

It has been a while since Piccolo got a new transformation. His last power-up was when he fused with Kami and became the one original Namekian who came to Earth. Surrounded with a blue aura, did Piccolo became, as Abridged Vegeta coined it, the Namekian God? Since Piccolo doesn’t appear in any synopsis yet, there’s still no clue about him and his role in this movie. But since everyone in this picture sports their most powerful form (Ultra Instinct disregarded since it doesn’t come up consciously), it is safe to assume that this blue-aura form is his new “most powerful” form.

The site provides a synopsis with “A legacy lies in wait, a deadly power is awakening—the legendary Super Saiyan Broly is here! Goku and his friends will face their deadliest challenge yet when they experience the power and might of Broly. Will they have enough strength to protect their home or will it take everything and everyone they have to stand against this unshakeable force? Experience the new power level in the latest movie from the Dragon Ball Super story!”

Dragon Ball Super Broly will be released on December 14, 2018, in Japan.
