Dr. Stone Anime Adaptation Confirmed

Dr. Stone is has been in the news recently, and it was related to a special announcement which would come out on November 19. The fans weren’t quite sure what to expect but, we didn’t have to wait for long. The 51st issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Jump magazine revealed that Dr. Stone is actually going to get an anime adaptation.

This is great news for the manga readers as the anime will bring the manga to life. It has been confirmed that the anime will air in the summer of 2019. This just adds more great anime to my watch list. Dr. Stone joins The Promised Neverland as the newcomers for next year.

The manga has been created by Riichirou Inagaki(author of Eyeshield 21) and Boichi(Sun-Ken Rock). The next issue of the manga will be released on November 19. The manga was published in the Weekly Shonen Jump on March 6. The seventh volume was published by Shueisha on September 4, and the eighth volume will come out next month.

Shueisha published the seventh volume of the manga on September 4, and the eighth volume is on its way. It is slated to be coming out on December 4. The manga was also in Takarajimasha’s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) Guidebook for 2018. Dr. Stone secured the 15th place.

The first three chapters of the manga were published by Viz Media in Japan as a part of the company’s “Jump Start” initiative. The series was then added to the lineup of its regulars. The manga is currently being published in the digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Viz Media is also releasing the manga in print.

The science-fiction adventure follows two boys who struggle to revive humanity after a mysterious crisis has left everyone in the world turned to stone for several millennia. Follow the young boys as they try to survive in this cruelest of conditions.
