In Episode 1037, Conan solves yet another mysterious murder that would have never come to light without him. The cops find Ishibashi and his two companions struck in the blizzard, and Dr. Agasa explains to them how the drug manufacturer murdered his partner with a knife. Moreover, it turns out that Ishibashi’s companions were his employees, and they are cooperating pretty well to come out of this hassle. What’s the next mystery that our crime-magnet protagonist will bump into? We will find that out in Detective Conan Episode 1038.
Conan was dead asleep when all that happened. The search party found him stuck inside the snow and escorted him to the nearest hospital safely. After waking up, he was so tired that he fell asleep even before getting all the case details from Agasa. In the final seconds of the episode, Agasa and the children find another car stuck in the snow and once again extend their helping hands towards them.
Detective Conan Episode 1038 Preview & Speculation
Sadly, there isn’t any preview for Detective Conan Episode 1038, and neither did the franchise reveal the episode title. It’s probably because Conan will be indulged in a brand new case in the upcoming episode, and the production team wants to keep it a secret for the time being. I am certain that Ai-chan will be back to action after receiving a lot of heartwarming gifts from her friends. However, there’s no way of telling if the episode will be an adaptation of manga chapters or a stand-alone filler episode. Well, whatever the case may be, fans are more concerned about the upcoming Detective Cone: The Bridge of Halloween movie, which is expected to break the theatres.
Detective Conan Episode 1037 Recap
In Episode 1037, Conan and his friends come across a small cottage in the middle of the snowy forest. With no other option left, they get into the shelter to keep themselves warm. Only if Conan had a signal in his smartphone, he could have called Dr. Agasa for help. As he is occupied with thoughts of finding a way out, he notices a faint mark signal and immediately calls Dr. Agasa. Unfortunately, the signal strength is too weak for a proper conversation, and explaining murder mystery in such a situation is nothing less than an ordeal.
Conan instructs his friends to abandon the shelter and move forward in the blizzard. There are two main reasons behind this insane decision: Conan figured out that the shelter is already in a rough condition and may fall on them at any time, and secondly, the other cabin in the west has a telephone in it. Once they reach it safely, they can inform the situation of the police without any network interruption.
Conan ties each of them together with a rope and starts moving through the whiteout. However, things don’t go as he planned; debris from the destroyed cabin comes flying in the storm and separates them. Conan finds himself lost in the snow and without any of his gadgets. He starts ransacking the snow to find anything useful, and luckily he gets his lost specs. Now that he can see clearly in the storm, he reunites with his friends in no time, and then they gradually head towards the cabin.
As Conan is about to enter the cabin, a heap of snow falls on him, thereby trapping him inside. Just when the children thought that all the hopes of survival were gone, the search party showed up and escorted them back safely. Hours later, Conan wakes up in the hospital to find out that Dr. Agasa has already handed Ishibashi and his companions to the police.
