Episode 10 ended with the most awaited climax of the Entertainment district arc. The demon slayers finally managed to severe the heads of the demons that have haunted the flamboyant district for centuries. The last flicker of their life extinguishes with a huge outbreak of rotating circular slashes, and Tengen barely saved Tanjiro from getting caught up in the explosion. How will the demon siblings meet their ends in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 11?
Right now, our demon-slaying heroes are in an awful state, especially Tengen Uzui, who lost an eye and an arm in the fight. Tanjiro is in no better condition. He is bleeding pretty severely, and Gyutaro’s poison gradually nullifies the slim chances of his survival. It will be nothing less than a miracle if all of them survive from here. We bring you the latest episode updates of Demon Slayer anime.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 11 Preview & Speculations
There isn’t any preview video for the final episode of the Entertainment District arc. However, it isn’t very hard to predict that we are heading towards the emotional part of every demon encounter that shows us their backstory. Before receiving Muzan’s blood, Gyutaro and Daki must have been normal humans. They were the victims of humanity’s ugly side that turned them into the emotionless monsters you see today.
Both Gyutaro and Daki bear profound hatred towards humanity and love killing them like insects. In Episode 11, we will get to know the reasons behind it and see the tragic events that nurtured such an intense grudge. Coming to the aftermath of the arc, Nezuko’s anti-demon flames are the only possible treatment for Gyutaro’s poison. Even if Tengen somehow survives, I don’t think he will be in any shape to continue with his Hashira duties. Meanwhile, Muzan will be concerned about the first death of an Upper Moon demon in 112 years. He will most likely call for a meeting and develop a plan for making the Hashiras pay.
Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 10 Recap
In Episode 10, Tanjiro witnesses his comrades falling before the demon siblings one after another. Inosuke is stabbed by Gyutaro, Zenitsu is stuck under the debris, and Tengen’s heart has stopped beating. He looks around for the slightest ray of hope and gradually falls unconscious. Drowning into the depths of despair, Tanjiro apologizes to everyone he let down. He wakes up in the snow-covered mountains of his homeland, where Nezuko reminds him of the essence of not giving up. Although it was nothing but a dream, it brings back Tanjiro’s composure for the time being.
Thankfully, Gyutaro didn’t kill Tanjiro when he was lying unconscious over the rubble. Either he wants to torture Tanjiro to death, or he plans to turn Tanjuro into a fine demon like himself. None of these options are acceptable for Tanjiro, so he makes a desperate attempt to flee with his sister. Later we get to know that his plan was to catch Gyutaro off-guard and stab him with the poisoned kunai. Once he succeeds, he brings the demon down with a headbutt and tries to chop off his head. However, the veteran monster was too smart to fall for such a puny trick.
Just when everything was lost, and it seemed that evil would have the final laugh, Tengen reemerged as Tanjiro’s guardian deity and engaged Gyutaro in a fierce fight. He analyzes Gyutaro’s repetitive attack patterns like the notes of a song and reacts accordingly. Meanwhile, Zenitsu and Inosuke team up against Daki and overpower her with their incredible strength and speed. Tanjiro finally gets the opening he was searching for when Gyutaro’s sickle gets struck in his jaw, and he slices off the demon’s head in a single swing of Hinokami Kagura.
