The official website for Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba television anime streamed a commercial on Tuesday. The anime will be making its premiere in April 2019. The series will air on a total channel which includes Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, TV Tokyo, and BS11. A lot of fans are excited to see the anime when it finally drops.
The cast for the anime has already been confirmed. Here is the cast for the series:

The anime is directed by Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Zestiria the X, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) at ufotable (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu). ufotable is also credited for the scripts. The character designs will be done by Akira Matsushima (Maria Watches Over Us, Tales of Zestiria the X). Miyuki Sato, Yōko Kajiyama, and Mika Kikuchi will be serving as sub-character designers. The music will be composed by Yuki Kajiura (Sword Art Online, Fate/Zero, Madoka Magica) and Gō Shiina (Tales of Zestiria the X, Jūni Taisen: Zodiac War, God Eater). The series is being produced by Hikaru Kondo.

Since ancient times, rumors have abounded of man-eating demons lurking in the woods. Because of this, the local townsfolk never venture outside at night. Legend has it that a demon slayer also roams the night, hunting down these bloodthirsty demons. For young Tanjiro, these rumors will soon to become his harsh reality
Ever since the death of his father, Tanjiro has taken it upon himself to support his family. Although their lives may be hardened by tragedy, they’ve found happiness. But that temporary warmth is shattered one day when Tanjiro finds his family slaughtered and the lone survivor, his sister Nezuko, turned into a demon. To his surprise, however, Nezuko still shows signs of human emotion and thought. Thus begins Tanjiro’s request to fight demons and turn his sister human again.
The manga made its debut in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016. Since then it has gained quite a lot of popularity. The manga is also getting a novel which will be shipped to Japan on February 4.
