We are heading towards exciting times. The release of DC Universe’s online streaming service is close. From less than 24 hours, DC will launch its streaming service, i.e., today, 15 September. And this would mean that after the release of online streaming service, DC Universe will broadcast four live-action series, starting with Titans. Titans was in works for a long period and it will premier in approximately a month from now. By now you have must have come across the surfaced images of Titans. At the SDCC, DC revealed it first looks, in the form of a teaser trailer. But that’s old news, the violent uproar that we saw, crass language teaser for Titans. Watch it here, if you haven’t.
Today I am talking about the brand new superhero team look, that’s come out. We hadn’t seen the team up until now. This image shows Robin played by Brenton Thwaites, Starfire played by Anna Diop, Beast Boy played by Ryan Potter, and Raven played by Teagan Croft. These four are seen in their avatars(superhero or street) some smiling, some frowning at something. We see Robin in his superhero costume, and the rest of the three are in streetwear.
DC’s Titans: Spoilers
Its come to my notice that DC has claimed the series will be “a bit of a slow burn” meaning the Titans will be seen gradually progressing in their new roles. They won’t be Titans all at once, at the beginning, itself. They will slowly after coming under Robin become into Titans. And this will start the story. Next as a part of the additional cast of Titans are DC’s Hawk portrayed by Alan Ritchson and Dove played by Minka Kelly. So there aren’t just four of them but six. Additionally, it is to document the fall out between Batman and Robin.
Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin
Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire
Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven
Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy
DC’s Titans: Release Date
Titans will kick start DC’s streaming service. It’s the inaugural TV series. Titans debut on DC Universe’s streaming service on October 12, in less than a month from now.
