This month’s Dragon Ball Super Manga came out recently, and it had a lot of new stuff for us fans. The manga never disappoints really, and even though the anime is way ahead of the manga, I think even then, the manga is keeping fans on their toes because of the extreme detail it has. Toyotaro recently talked about how the anime is ahead of the manga, but he’d still like to do things a lot differently.
This basically means that we’re getting slight changes, and a lot of more information every month when the manga comes out. This months’ manga had a lot to say about Jiren, and even Toppo, as a lot of it was focused on Universe 11. What I think most fans found surprising is Jiren’s personality. It is completely different from what we’re used to from the anime.
Another great detail that the manga touched upon is why Toppo is going to be the next God of Destruction of Universe 11, if they survive, that is. We know from the anime that Toppo is groomed to be the next God of Destruction, but we don’t know why. Most people, including me, have wondered why Jiren isn’t the candidate even though he’s a lot stronger.
Some thought that both Jiren and Toppo are candidates, but that’s really not the case. According to the manga, it is Toppo who will be the next God of Destruction of Universe 11 because Jiren is not interested in being the God of Destruction. This quality of his is similar to Goku, and he just doesn’t share the interest for the spot of a God of Destruction. So basically, U11 settled for the next best thing.
What’s more, the way Jiren has been portrayed in the manga, I don’t think that he’ll ever be interested in being a God of Destruction. He is extremely kind. He isn’t cocky at all, like in the anime, and basically, him being a God of Destruction just doesn’t sound right. I think Toyotaro has created a wonderful character in Jiren, especially in the manga where we got to see all these sides of him we were not familiar with.
This kind of information is what keeps fans excited for the next Dragon Ball Super manga, even though most already know what’s happening next. I recommend you all read the Dragon Ball Super manga as well because it is just that great. I can only wonder how the Tournament of Power is going to go in the manga. We’re definitely going to get a lot more information there as well, especially since we’ll meet so many new characters. I am excited to see what Toyotaro has to offer here. I’m sure you are too!

Whis’s Hints Reveals Why Goku Achieved Ultra Instinct Before Vegeta
Hey guys. The duo of Gokū and Vegeta is one of the best-known duos in the world of anime. As every other anime rival both of them force each other to keep training so that one might surpass the other.
However, Vegeta has been always looked down upon by the creators and fans of Son Gokū. The recent introduction of the Ultra Instinct and above all Gokū getting the ultra instinct has left the Vegeta fans pretty salty, and why wouldn’t they be?
Ultra Instinct or Migatte no Gokui is a very big power up and it almost places Gokū on equal footing with the Gods of Destruction. However, I think there is actually a reason behind Gokū getting Ultra instinct ahead of Vegeta. Of course, Gokū is the main character but there is another reason. For this, we need to go back to Gokū and Vegeta’s training with Whis.
Whis told them about fighting without thinking, he mentioned that Vegeta thinks more before acting than Gokū does, which Vegeta attributes to Gokū not being very smart and him being more tactical. However, this also shows that Gokū was closer to achieving it than Vegeta, even though they seemed to be about on par with each other at the time.
The basis for Ultra Instinct is something Gokū has more time training in than Vegeta anyway. Take a look at Vegeta, you can see a soldier who is focused all the time.
