Danganronpa Anime Watch Order: TV Series & OVA

Danganronpa, a Japanese video game series founded by Kazutaka Kodaka. Spike Chunsoft produced and owned franchise. The plot revolves around a bunch of students driven to murder one another by Monokuma, a bear. The concept combines aspects of exploration, graphic novel, and romance simulation. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, the very first game, launched in 2010 for the PlayStation Portable. Kodaka wrote the original storyline in order to make a dark adventure series. The original design was rejected because it was too gory, but after reshaping, it was authorized. The concept has evolved into a franchise with manga, anime, and books.

Seeing that Spike had formerly contracted their production, the franchise has been one of their most notable achievements. Critics praised the program’s characters, mood, and ambiance, and it garnered many excellent reviews. Illustrations by Rui Komatsuzaki became famous among cosplayers. Team members from the studio Pierrot were also motivated by Kodaka’s art when creating the anime Akudama Drive. The Danganronpa series will have distributed 3.5 million copies globally by 2020.

About the videogame

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony are all based on the very same concept. Monokuma, a bear-like automaton, captures sixteen exceptional kids who excel at various professions. Monokuma entraps the group inside a series of murdering games.

The ensemble is imprisoned in an institution for their entire lives. The only option out is to assassinate someone else and appear blameless during the class trials. The storylines of video games are linked by associated media, which eventually improves the tale among versions.

The six chapters of the main Danganronpa games each include three sections: Daily Life, Deadly Life, and Class Trial. When gamers visit the school campus, talk among characters, and advance the tale. Daily Life uses a similar visual manga structure.

Gamers can engage with a character of one‘s choosing in the specified “Free Time” parts. Discovering something about them and acquiring new abilities to aid them in the Class Trial. Deadly Life is the plot’s post-murder investigative phase. Wherein players look for hints and build a case in preparation for the Class Trial.
