Episode 5 of Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 11 came out on 21st November 2021. Furthermore, the episode was titled “IRASSHAIMASE!”. The episode began with Larry, Freddy, and Jeff having lunch together. Meanwhile, Hal came by and greeted Larry and Freddy but not Jeff, instead, he gave him a stare and left. Upon asking, Jeff told that he had set Hal up with his friend Gabby and since then, he is avoiding him. This made Larry and Freddy curious about what happened on Hal’s date as they discussed Hal’s secret that he had slept with his mother-in-law.
Later on, Larry asked Jeff about Gabby and went on a date with her. But before that, he asked Freddy for a shirt, and Freddy gave him a good one. Meanwhile, during the date at the restaurant named ‘Katsuya’, it all went well as both Larry and Gabby had a good time and shared one secret with each other. However, the ending got a little weird when the chefs yelled ‘Irasshaimase’ while welcoming a guest, and Larry got scared spilling soy sauce over the shirt. Whereas at his home, he used soap to remove the stain off the shirt, but it made it worse. Moreover, he also shared Gabby’s secret with Jeff, who shouted it indirectly, telling it to Leon as well. Later on, Larry met with Freddy and apologized for ruining Freddy’s shirt after knowing it was his favorite.

He even asked Freddy to take one from his closet in return, so Freddy asked for Larry’s favorite shirt, but he refused. This made Freddy disappointed, and he left. Meanwhile, Hal’s father died, and Larry didn’t go to the funeral because there was a lot of traffic. Meanwhile, on the second date, Larry confronted Gabby for spilling his secret but was still ready to take the date forward. However, it ended badly at ‘Katsuya’ when the chefs shouted Gabby’s secret in front of everyone, embarring her. It was Hal who spilled Gabby’s secret as revenge against her who spread his secret about him sleeping with his mother-in-law. In doing so, he also ruined Larry’s date as revenge for Larry not making it to the funeral just because of a little traffic.
