The fans are eagerly waiting for Cobra Kai Season 4 Episode 1 release date after binge-watching the first three seasons. The American streaming television series has made a big impact in the streaming industry since it first premiered in 2018. It follows the genre of dramedy that is a combination of drama and comedy genres and majorly focuses on martial arts. In addition to that, the series is a continuation of a popular film series. The Karate Kid film series is one of the most famous martial arts films out there.
It has a huge fanbase all around the world, even though the first film came out way back in 1984. The film series was a big hit and received a lot of positive reviews. There are a total of four films in the original Karate Kid franchise titled “The Karate Kid,” “The Karate Kid Part II,” “The Karate Kid Part III,” and “The Next Karate Kid”. All of these films were released in the years 1984, 1986, 1989, and 1994 respectively. The original movie even got a remake in the year 2010 that was also titled “The Karate Kid”. It starred Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith in the lead roles.
However, the movie focused on Kung-Fu instead of Karate in the original franchise. The movie was even released with the title of “The Kung Fu Dream” in China. Although, the remake has not been the inspiration of the Cobra Kai series till now, as the series has picked up after the events of the original franchise. The first two seasons were originally released on Youtube Red. However, Netflix picked up the third season from Youtube and released it on its platform on 1st January 2021. Cobra Kai Season 4 Episode 1 is set to release on Netflix, so lets us further discuss that.
Who Are The Cast Members Of Cobra Kai?
The most fascinating thing about the series is that it has picked up some of the original cast from the original 1984 film. Cobra Kai has an ensemble cast and gives a lot of focus to them as well. However, it obviously focuses on the main characters and their overall development as the series progresses. The martial arts series features the original actors from the 1984 original movie in their characters, respectively.
However, the series picks up thirty-four years later from the events of that film. Therefore the original characters are also thirty-four years older than what they were in the first film. Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, and Martin Kove are the original actors reprising their roles in the series. They play the roles of Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence, and John Kreese, respectively. Meanwhile, the other main actors include Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Courtney Henggeler, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Peyton List, and Vanessa Rubio.
Xolo plays the lead role of Miguel Diaz, Tanner plays another main character of Robby Keene, Mary plays Samantha LaRusso, who is the daughter of Daniel LaRusso, and Amanda LaRusso, portrayed by Courtney. Jacob, Gianni, Peyton, and Vanessa portray the roles of Eli Moskowitz, aka Hawk, Demetri, Tory Nichols, and Carmen Diaz. These four characters were initially recurring characters at the beginning of the series. However, they became important characters as the story progressed. All of these characters will be returning for their respective roles in Cobra Kai Season 4.
