A Look At The Cast and Characters
Having a very heavy heart, we regret to tell you that Dr Natalie Manning will not be returning to the show. Torrey DeVitto, who has been playing the character of Dr Manning, has dropped out of the show after doing six full seasons. Bidding her final goodbye to the show through her Instagram account, DeVitto will be joining the cast of an indie feature film called “Skelly”. Along with her, Yaya DaCosta, who plays the role of April Sexton is also dropping out of the show. Considering her entry in the list of cast members of “Our Kind of People” on Fox. Playing April, she came into the hospital as a nurse. She, too, bided her goodbye to the show through social media and went on to thank the production team.

Looking at the old cast members, Nick Gehlfuss will return as Dr. Will Halstead. Along with Oliver Platt returning as Dr. Daniel Charles. Brian Tee returning as Dr. Ethan Choi. Marlyne Barrett returns as Maggie Lockwood. S. Epatha Merkerson returns as Sharon Goodwin. Steven Weber returns as Dr. Dean Archer, and Dominic Rains returning as Dr. Crockett Marcel.
Two new doctors have also joined the team. Kristen Hager is coming to the show, with the role of Dr. Stevie Hammer. Who is a brilliant, scrappy emergency medicine doctor with a surprising past. Along with Guy Lockard, who is going to play Dr. Dylan Scott. A cop turned doctor, who’s doing a dual residency in emergency medicine and pediatrics.

Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 1 will premiere on September 22, 2o21 at 8pm EST. Considering that Dr. Manning has confessed to the crime and left the hospital. With the first episode titled “You Can’t Always Trust What You See”, Dr Halstead is coming back to the emergency department of the hospital.
