Players of Call of Duty: Warzone won’t be able to download the update until March 25th, when Season 2 Reloaded kicks off. Both Sledgehammer Titles and Raven Software have been working hard to ensure that the forthcoming mid-season update provides lots of content for fans, with both games poised to get a slew of upgrades.
New sites of interest, features, and other additions will be made to Warzone’s extremely popular Rebirth Island map later this week. There will also be some brand new modes and a forthcoming ‘Rebirth Reinforced’ Event with a slew of goodies. Players of Call of Duty: Vanguard will be happy to learn that Season 2 Reloaded will include a new 12v12 Arms Race mode, map, vehicles, and modifications to Ranked Play.
New Updates: Rebirth Island Map Changes
The bite-sized combat royale area was finally in for some major adjustments after almost 15 months of frequent Rebirth. The first was a brand-new POI called ‘Stronghold.’ This location has taken the place of the often-overlooked Security Area POI, and it now provides significantly more of a reason to explore that part of the island. Prison Courtyard and Dock are two new POIs that have been added to the map.
In addition, Redeploy Balloons were added to Rebirth in Season 2 Reloaded, providing players with a significantly more effective way of rotating. Communication Towers, last but not least, arrived to shake things up. A single UAV ping costs $1500 with these amazing new upgrades.

Rebirth Reinforced Event
Following the Season 2 Reloaded patch, a limited-time Rebirth Reinforced event was introduced. This event comes with its own set of challenges and rewards, as is customary. This particular event, however, has more to it than meets the eye.
Community Challenges for Rebirth Reinforced have been introduced, providing players with even more reason to grind on the freshly enhanced map. Some of the most valuable awards are tied to projects that need the entire Warzone community to collaborate. During the Rebirth Reinforced event, there are lots to strive for as a community, from enormous XP boosts to entirely new map features.
With the start of Season 2, a slew of minor gameplay tweaks was made. Everything from Gas Face Mask animations to Fighter Planes was adjusted to better the moment-to-moment experience. With Season 2 Reloaded, a number of additional changes have been made. We knew of three specific quality of life improvements that had been locked in early based on earlier information. We know of almost a dozen gameplay adjustments that were added now that the whole patch is out the door.
Players can now transition from prone to crouching while downed, drop their Gas Face Masks, and pick up more Armor from other Armor Satchels, according to the latest update. Additionally, Portable Buy Stations can be used to adjust the tempo of any particular match. Instead of rushing to a pre-determined Buy Station, teams can now place their own on the map for easy access. However, that’s only the tip of the iceberg since the entire Season 2 Reloaded update includes even more gameplay tweaks.
Weapon Trading System
A Weapon Trading System has been added to Rebirth Island in the Season 2 Reloaded update. Instead of spending your hard-earned money on equipment or streaks, you can now switch weapons with this new Trading System.
Let’s say you find a Legendary gun on the ground but don’t know what to do with it. You can simply hand over this undesirable weapon and pick up anything from a UAV to a Self-Revive if you have a Weapon Trading System nearby. While the functionality is now only available in Rebirth, it is scheduled to be added to standard BR modes later this year.
